There is no actual interaction with another human as far as property management is concerned. Instructions are sent via email etc and we never even saw anyone for the property. That is a good thing for us. The property is set up nicely and well stocked with all you need. There is a handy store across the street should snacks, drinks, wine, beer, or toilet paper etc be needed. There are literally too many eating establishments to count in a 1 mile radius to this location. We walked to/from the Catalina Express from here. We will stay here again for sure.

This property was very run down, the bathtub was chipped and rusted, there was blood on the mattress cover visible through the sheet and I could clearly hear the guy next door in the bathroom and the music from either the restaurant or club or neighbour was loud. We couldn’t stay in a room that deplorable and had to leave immediately. I expect a full refund from Expedia.

There is no where to pull over and unload. It is surrounded by one way streets maxed out with parking. It is a tiny door off there street to get in and clearly a converted apartment building. When i pulled around to keep looking for a spot to unload i saw someone actively spray painting a wall and another person setting up a tent to sleep near the door. We ended up having to leave and book another hotel as this was not safe.

We were in the hotel and parking was crazy due to Grand Prix events all over the City. I did not see a person setting up a tent near the door and I was at the hotel until 8pm that evening. The number called was not the proper line, if calling the after hours line, we would have walked out a parking key to assist.

This is a nicely renovated older property. They’ve done a nice job updating it and the staff is very friendly. We only stayed there for the night before our cruise and it was conveniently located less than a $10 Uber ride away from the cruise terminal.

The staff, their kindness and helpfulness were the best parts of this hotel. Otherwise negative experience. Noisy all night with people shouting obscenities in the street at all hours and what sounded like a night club next door. The unit was mediocre, with old, stained carpet, hard beds, and a freaky window in the bathroom. Rather sketchy, all in all. Would not stay here again.

We stayed over for one night waiting for our cruise the next day and it was perfect! So cute! The kitchen was a great surprise that I did not expect Huge closet w lots of storage The windows open so it was nice to have fresh air overnight. Stairs are plentiful and steep- heavy luggage was difficult but a member of the staff took my bag up!! So nice!

There is no parking on site. If you need parking you have to notify the hotel by 1pm on the day if checkin and you cannot check in until 3pm. The notification that is sent with the parking information was received the day of checkin after 1pm. There is no one onsite for checkin and parking is 3 blocks away at another hotel. You have to pay in cash for parking. There is no bottled water in the rooms. There is no info on the property in the rooms. There are no amenities at the venue and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash was empty. There are only 2 towels and if you want more you have to ask ahead of your stay and that was not in the listing. The housekeeper was so very kind and she did a wonderful job. We will not be staying here again and will not refer anyone.

We are sorry that you were disappointed with your stay. Regarding parking and staffing, we are very clear with all communication regarding parking and on site staffing. We apologize for any inconvenience but you seem to have been able to address supply issues with our housekeeping staff and we are very proud of the job they do for us. We offer both telephone and email/app message point of contacts and always respond.The parking garage is one block away.As most of the area was developed in the 1920's, parking was never a priority. As a densely populated urban location, parking can be difficult to find so we offer a remote location at half their normal daily rate.We try to make it as seamless as possible considering we do not have our own parking.We appreciate your feedback.

The location was great. We were there for three days at the convention center. Only issue was the body wash and shampoo were not refilled so we grabbed some from the corner store. I’m sure if I would have mentioned it to the staff they would have fixed it but we didn’t see anyone staff until check out. Other than that, was a great stay.

Great for a quick stay. The only thing we didn’t like was our room had a window in the bathroom that overlooks a wall. My daughters were terrified to go into the bathroom by themselves. I think it would be great to maybe even add just a curtain or blinds or just close the window Up.

The property was very clean and roomy. Easy to get to , we parked at the Marriott one block away. It was noisy. My wife had trouble sleeping Maybe just unlucky as we had loud neighbors and walls are pretty thin.

Hotel do not service rooms since Covid ! Our policy is 5 days. Next time , don't take this wrong , book a big hotel with high prices that have services , but again read the information sent in advice "

Horrible guest! Did not read her instructions emails , kept texting me on my cell and then shorted us for parking fee and paid in quarters. Blanket in closet and yes I sent that text as she was using my cell and not following any guidelines!

We made modifications to our messages last year but you did not receive updated information.Our pre-arrival message does state that we do not have an elevator and that was sent to you two days before arrival.As a historic boutique hotel built in 1920's, elevators were not included in construction. The room was nice, clean, and the property was good. However, the room we were in was jarred/rattled every time the outside door slammed closed which was often. This made it imposible to sleep. They need to reinforce the door frame as well as put a soft close feature on the door to prevent this...

Absolutely right. Unfortunately , the door hinge broke a week ago we replaced the arm and it slammed so hard, I had them out yesterday to adjust and it is back to normal. Sorry it impacted your stay. They would not come out over a holiday weekend.

Thank you for your feedback. We make a note of the lack of elevator in all our communications and on our booking sites. As an old historic building, they just did not put elevators in them when they built them in the 1920's.

Not very quiet with street right below. This is an older building with no elevator but cute rooms which are clean and comfy. Would stay safe here again.

Nice place to stay. Just be weary that they don't have an elevator so if you have luggage you'll be lugging it up flights of stairs.

The property was nice because the staff was great at communicating. We didn't actually see anyone while we were there but we were able to get in and out of our room and the hotel with no issues. The hotel is very walkable to restaurants and the beach. I would defiantly recommend this property to other people.
