"This place would get our very highest rating—if it weren’t so remote and far away from restaurants, hiking trails, etc. Too much driving! The house is charming and quirky. Grit, our hostess, was just lovely, helpful and hospitable. The place is sparkling clean, and well supplied with everything we needed. Many thoughtful touches. "Nach dem Vulkanausbruch 2021 waren wir nun zum elften Mal in La Palma. Die Anlage und das Dorf, wo wir die letzten Jahre wohnten, wurde durch den Ausbruch verschüttet. Es ist sehr traurig und doch auch wieder schön zu sehen, wie wieder gebaut wird und es nach Aufbruch aussieht. Es wäre hilfreich, im Vorhinein darüber informiert zu werden, dass "El Gallo" vom Lavastrom links und rechts umgeben ist. "We stayed for a week in this lovely rental. It is probably the most relaxing holiday-let that I have ever stayed in. All of us were happy just to spend time in the garden, with so many areas to find our own favourite space. The garden is full of wildlife - birds, reptiles and bats The colonial style house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Best pillows ever! The owners were very quick to respond to all of our queries. We all loved staying there."

"Room was good and food was very good. Good entertainment shows every evening. Great place. Nice walk (15-20min) to the beach. 20 min the next town. 40 min bus ride to los llanos from fuencaliente. Beautiful island, not too busy in summer, just right for our taste."
