Top Lossiemouth Hotel Reviews

The Mansion House Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Loved everything!"

Cluny Hill Hotel

8/10 Good

"I read a Lot of reviews before choosing to stay here and I'm so glad I ignored the bad ones. I loved this hotel. My room was huge but basic. It reminded me of the kind of old properties Youth Hostels often occupy. Comfy bed, nice white sheets. This was the cheapest in the area so I dont think the bad reviews are fair. Pay more and stay somewhere else. Normally I MUST have a TV in my room but I really didnt mind that there wasnt one. Look into the history of the building to understand the reasons why it had anvair of Fawlty towts meets the Shining. Phone in advance to advise an eta so when you do arrive (90 minutes later than you thi"

Sunninghill

8/10 Good

"Good hotel with lovely, helpful & friendly staff. Got chatting to various people in the bar area, which was relaxed with a nice atmosphere. Bar staff were very helpful & chatted with ease. Room was spacious and clean as was the bathroom, but the shower was very weak indeed, but the water was warm enough. The room/bathroom/decor are what you would expect of such a hotel in the area. Make-over would be welcome, but in thee difficult times, fully understand if it isn't priority. Would recommend."

Modern Fisherman's Cottage with Stunning Uninterrupted Views of the Moray Firth

10/10 Excellent

"Much more spacious than I expected from photos. Very clean and well prepared. Well equipped. Superb location next to little beach / swimming cove. Others in walking distance, and many in driving distance. Pretty village, one shop, and only one pub, which has limited opening hours , especially for meals. Good heating. Large bath."

The Old Mill Inn

10/10 Excellent

"For an unknown reason receiving the entry details was difficult but eventually successful. The room was clean and the facilities were very good. The decor won’t please everyone but the invisible staff refreshed towels and drinks efficiently. Aware that no food service was available the presence of the fridge was helpful to store our own items. Didn’t try the recommended place for breakfast. It was a fair price to reach Findhorn and Forres for the festival. When the noise issue was mysteriously fixed it was a comfortable stay."

The Old Coach House Hotel

8/10 Good

"The ladies on reception were so lovely. Friendly and very helpful advising on gpod eating places and places to visit. The bedroom was clean with very comfortable bed. Sadly the hotel is in need of tlc it showed the signs of great potential and could offer a wonderful eating and drinking venue if developed. The price was very reasonable given the standard of the amenities and a place to certainly use if only needing a base"
