With its easy access to over 20 Kentucky Bourbon Trail distilleries, Churchill Downs, Taylorsville Lake State Park, Downtown Louisville (breweries, dining, shopping, entertainment and more) plus hiking, river tours and outdoor adventures you will find yourself immersed in the culture that is classic Kentucky. Our breathtaking 1820's restored cabin is designed beautifully for 8 guests and with 4 private suites, 4 full bathrooms and a half bath, you will have plenty of room to gather and relax. Handcrafted furniture, locally made quilts, fully stocked kitchen, smart tvs in every bedroom and WiFi throughout are just a few of the amenities you will find. Relax by the fireplaces in either the living room or main floor bedroom, strike up a conversation in the sitting room overlooking the rolling hillside dotted with cattle, engage in a board game of your choice with several provided to choose from or just soak in the views on the full, wrap around porch overlooking the picturesque lake, firepit and farmland. Ready for adventure? Head out in any direction to easily reach grocery stores, shopping and Kentucky landmarks. Bourbon, Horses and Bluegrass; welcome to Kentucky and Plum Ridge Farm.

Great Stay for the PGA Championship
We wish we had planned to stay longer! The house and the property is ideal! We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire pit. The bedrooms were all well appointed and very comfortable. We would definitely plan to stay here again if we travel back to the area.

This place is heaven. Lake outside the front door, rolling hills, surround porch and all amenities. You will need to bring bath products. Owner very responsive! Went there for the derby. Only 35 min from city and closer to airport. Can’t go wrong staying here and hope to come back next year!

Great location for distilleries and racing at Keeneland. Beautiful property with comfortable accommodations for 8 adults. Everything we could have wanted was available. The host was easy to reach and very accommodating. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!

Idyllic setting for a lovely weekend
The cabin is beautiful . Our group of 8, consisted of 4 couples, so the bedroom set up was perfect. We used the kitchen and grill and everything was great, no detail missed. Majority of our time was spent outside, around the fire pit, starter and wood were also provided. Will definitely return.

I have taken numerous trips to Kentucky to select bourbon barrels and this has been the best place that I have stayed at. Wonderful location, spacious area, beautiful yard to wander through and a comfortable space to relax after a long day.

The house is Beautiful and perfect for a group of family and friends! Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and allowed us to have our private spaces. The fireplaces were perfect. The porch, fire pit and outside property was great! We loved our stay!

Wanted a place with plenty of room for our holiday family vacation and this property exceeded all expectations! When booking, we knew right away this was our choice just from the pictures. Lets just say, the pictures don't do justice on how beautiful everything about this property is. If you're looking for a home with everything to accommodate actual family time, look no further! Only regret we have is that we didn't book a longer stay, but this will be our 1st choice the next time we're planning any trip(s) there.
