Good location for the expo center. Hotel is a little run down very old also room was next to the lobby was very loud when trying to sleep you could hear people walking above us and running above us it was really loud.

The hotel was dated but clean and otherwise very well maintained. Our room was a good size and there was always someone at the front desk if we needed anything. We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby as it was the only reasonably priced hotel in the city and we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel.

The staff was very friendly. Hotel is close to Kentucky Kingdom and Expo Center. It was in the 90’s when we were there and the AC was not turned on in the room. The room was hot and smelled quite bad. The odor got much better after the room cooled down. There were several dead bugs on the floor and in the bathroom. Also there were stains on the bathroom wall, something gross on the bed frame. Couple different outlets didn’t work.

Nice for the money.

Stay was what we were expecting. Nice, but no frills. The jacuzzi was nice. Not enough blankets on the beds.

The room was clean, inside was quiet, beds were comfortable. The gentleman yelling at the Ford Mustang was odd but couldn’t hear him once inside. He was hard to avoid due to the small parking lot. All told would stay here again.

I will NOT stay here again!!!

There is a woman who works the front desk that is EXTREMELY rude. Not just to me, but to everyone staying here. When i first arrived, she told me very sternly, that i was to have no guests after 9pm. Honestly, i didnt take her seriously. That night, my family did what most families would do, which is to visit each other while in the area. No one was loud, there were no complaints and my family left that night quietly and respectfully. Granted it was a couple hours past 9pm, but there werent any problems. On the day i was supposed to check out, I decided to extend my stay. I did what i had previously done which was to go to hotels.com and make my reservation then I went to the front desk to let them know that I had extended my stay. I was told that i would need to remove all of my belongings from the room before check-out time (11am) and i could return to the exact same room anytime after 3pm. I dont have a car, so that would leave me sitting in the lobby for 4 hours before i could return to my room. I could understand if they had to clean the room, but they werent going to even walk in it. They did give me one other option, I could pay a $25 fee which would allow me and my things to stay in the room. I paid the fee because I had too much luggage to move like that. After I paid the fee, the lady stopped me and told me that instead of 9pm, i wasnt to have any guests after 7pm now. The breakfast is cereal with warm milk and orange juice that tastes like chemicals.

One of the best values ive had in a long time. Better than places twice as expensive. Simple, basic, well taken care of and well run. Breakfast was very basic and ended too early, but that eas a minor thing. Would definitely stay again.

They said I did not need a deposit because I’d stay here before and I got there and they wouldn’t give me my room and I’m still trying to get my money back. Boo for taking advantage of people online.
