Hotel is convenient to interstates and downtown Louisville restaurants, ballgames and conventions. Plus, it's a fraction of the competition's prices. Inexpensive surface parking is an added benefit, if you need to come and go. It is what it is. A basic motel that provides you the basics.

Perfect affordable place to stay! It is such a convenient location within walking distance of many nearby businesses, friendly staff, clean room with a BALCONY that I was not expecting. Noisy road is my only complaint, and that’s the price you pay for being so close to everything, so it’s worth it in my opinion! I would recommend staying here .

Considering several other hotels around Econolodge were $300+ per night the weekend we stayed, we were thrilled to pay $80 per night. Of course we were not expecting a five star experience, but the bed was comfortable, it was clean, and the room was a decent size. The fridge and microwave were a nice bonus too. The staff were friendly. Parking price was reasonable. It’s literally attached to a liquor store, which could throw some people off, but there were no issues at all; it’s actually convenient to have a store so close. Area was walkable to restaurants and bars on Main. I’d stay here again considering the price.

Lots of stuff close by: shops, foods, highway access, etc. Dead insects and other debris around the room. Drains in the room need to be cleaned. Most surfaces had to be wiped down when we got there. Headboard of the bed is sticky from cleaning residue.

I needed a cheap place to stay for a 3 night run at the Palace. The Palace was a short walk from the hotel/motel. Plenty of eating, drinking, and entertainment options near by.

It was a great stay as I needed to be in town for a hospital visit. I’ve gotten late and the front desk accommodated us with a room on the first floor. Definitely will use this hotel again.

Nothing fancy but it was overall a good experience. Check-in was a little frustrating because the clerk apparently didn't speak or understand English very well. The exterior of property isn't fancy but nice. The room was very clean including the bathroom. Water pressure was good in the shower. Checked for bedbugs as I always do at any hotel. The mattresses are in the sealed bedbug bags. There is a CHARGE FOR PARKING! RIDICULOUS!!!! I understand if you weren't staying there. So be aware of that. I paid $5.00 Our destination was the yum center. Maybe 10 minute walk. Would stay there again. Will just make sure to bring an extre for parking 😁

Not good for family only good for a drunken night

My family and I were very disappointed with our stay. The linens and walls were dirty, and it was bad enough that we didn’t even feel comfortable showering there. Thankfully, it was just for one night. The only positives were that the beds were comfortable and the AC worked. Because of the cleanliness issues, we had to sleep on top of the beds fully dressed in hoodies, sweatpants, and socks.
