Our stay was very comfortable. Views are amazing and breathtaking. Our hosts were very responsive and so kind. Home was far enough away from the city for peace and quiet, yet easy enough to get to. Walking the property was so relaxing. We like to stay at different places, but this one tops them all. We will be back.
My wife and I were taking each of our moms (70+) to Churchill Downs for Derby Week (Thurby) and we wanted a place where we could all stay together and yet have our own sleeping arrangements. This house was on point. We were able to relax in the living room, or in the kitchen/dining area when we wanted, but when it was time to get ready for the day or retire for the night, we could all retreat to our own rooms.
The hosts are amazing. They were available as we were leading up to our stay, and they greeted us after we checked in. They gave us the lay of their land and the animals.
Both of our mothers commented on how they loved the stay and it was a very enjoyable part of their overall experience. We were able to spend the last morning there having fresh farm eggs with our bacon and coffee before hitting to road home.
Only real recommendation would be to provide full mirrors in the bedrooms … per “the moms.” 😀
We are keeping this house on our list for potential future stays if back in the area.
