I wasn't sure what to expect from a Super 8 Motel. We booked it because of price and location and the reviews were all good so we took a chance. It is not the most modern place, in fact it could use a good refresh for sure, but I would stay here again. It was clean and that to us was the most important thing.

Not a bad stay for what you pay. Room was clean-ish. Just really needs to be updated Staff was friendly though I'm pretty sure they are living on site. Their kids were yelling and screaming down the hall in t he middle of the night. A/C worked great. TV worked. Shower wasn't bad If my wife was there she wouldn't have liked it but again, it was cheaper and it takes a lot to bother me.

The pool was good, just needs warm lights, and plants, even if they're artificial. the lights are blue shop lights, it would look so good in the pool room with warm lights, and plants.

The most impressive thing about the hotel was that we had Wifi and could watch ESPN so we did not have to miss the LSU Women's Basketball game in the March Madness Sweet 16. The only bad part about that was LSU ended up 1 point ahead with 2.9 seconds left and the other team shot a 3 pointer and so LSU lost by 2 points. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and I felt like it was family friendly. I would stay again if I am ever in Shepherdsville and need a room.

The check in was awesome the lady was super nice and very knowledgeable of the area she recommended the Cattleman restaurant for dinner and it never disappoints. The area was quiet and would definitely stay there again.
