Family reunion at the Hemingway retreat

What a beautiful property that fits our large famiky needs perfectly. House was in great shape (and available 90 mins earlier than stated). Pool was a perfect answer to the heat wave and kept everyone occupied. Kitchen was well equipped. Highly recommend this property for any larger groups!

Beautiful Getaway

The house was lovely and very clean. Great amenities. The only issue was the internet but that's common in that rural area and it's a great way to learn to disconnect and appreciate what's in front of you. I highly recommend this place. It would be fun to go with a some friends and hit the nearby wineries, antiquing, and just relaxing with the pool, tennis courts, fire pit, and beautiful landscapes.

Swimming or Tennis?

Tough choice. Why not both? That was the biggest appeal of Hemingway’s Retreat, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, of course. Good kitchen is also a must. This property has it all.

Fantastic Stay

Our group had a wonderful time in Lovettsville - the house had everything we needed. From afternoons in the pool and tennis court to evenings cooking group meals in the lovely kitchen we all had a wonderful time. The property is centrally located and easy to get to a variety of activities like the wineries and tubing. Paul goes above & beyond to make you and your group feel comfortable. Would highly recommend for your next friend/family vacation!

We stayed here for my daughters college graduation the owner was super sweet understanding and helpful the pictures does this beautiful property no justice we walked in and were in awe definitely will be back thank you Paul
