"I visited the Lara with the wife for a week mid march. I was a little worried as some of the reviews i had read had sort of put me off.
I would say however that these bad reviews were in the whole were unjust. Yes the rooms are a little tired and could do with an uolift. The staff were fantastic. The food was mainly soft due to the amount of people having Turkey teeth. Tge bar was over priced and the shop across the road was just daylight robbery, however thus isnt the staffs fault. If you want 5 star then thus isnt for you, but for a cheap holiday with friendly staff then go for it. They are building next door, again this isnt the fault of the staff or the hotel. "
