West Beach Inn, a Coast Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This is an older renovated hotel and they have done a great job..the room was very nice..the pool was like older pools were, with a real deep end..at first it seem small..but the way it is shaped it is fine..I loved it. Small lobby , yet fits the atmosphere of the place & they set up a breakfast there with cereal & pastries..and yogurt with fresh fruit. I will definitely stay there again."
"The Montecito Inn is a beautiful boutique inn that we have been coming to for over 30 years. This was the first time we’ve stayed there since their major renovation. The hotel and the rooms were just beautiful! The staff is always lovely and friendly. The only thing I miss about the old days is the restaurant they used to own. There is still one on property, but it’s not part of the hotel, and we did not try it. But there are SO many restaurants within one, two, or three blocks, no one would lack for dining options! I can’t imagine staying in Montecito without staying at Montecito Inn!"
"Very nice quaint Inn within walking and driving of the Santa Barbara beach. Nice continental breakfast. Private and protected interior courtyard was very nice."
"The bar was nice to experience after a full day of traveling and late checkin. Definitely do the valet parking. Very easy walk to the wharf. I suggest the Wharf restaurant for breakfast."
"My wife and I upgraded to a larger room. The room was light and bright, but the bed was way too soft, and the room is along the main roadway, which made it quite loud. I shared this concern with the front desk staff and they were kind enough to reduce one night parking fee of $40. In our travels we feel that this room was fairly overpriced. I would have to think again about whether we would stay at this establishment in the future.."
