Very nice hotel at the night Market of Luanh Prabang. The first room had a problem with the ac so we got an upgrade. The hotel is well kept and very clean. Good breakfast with a lot the choose from the à la carte menu. We spend 3 very relaxing nights at the Avani

Avani hotel was superb! Everything from the location, the pool and the breakfast was perfect! We could walk to both the morning and night markets as well as the royal palace. We loved the breakfast buffet and the Mekong River cruise- it was such an incredible experience and I would highly recommend the splurge!

From the first day I received individual treatment and care. Service was quick and responsive. Staff were lovely and well trained. Good was great and reasonably priced. It was downtown but still very peaceful.

Property has a very convenient location. Rooms are small. Staff is nice but English is not great . It is expensive so you do not get good value for the high prices .

Facilities in room is not quite clean e.g. I found that the shower head is not clean. Mattress for glasses in sink area is black either dirty or mold etc. Staff service is very good. They assisted with all questions for traveling in city.

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful city!

This was our "treat yourself" hotel and our expectations were higher in terms of the room itself. The "garden view" rooms are not really views of a garden, but rather a cement wall and rooftops with a couple trees planted. That said, the view of the mountains afar was pretty. The room was also far smaller than I expected for the price. We stayed in a lot of hotels during our trip and every room in 3/4 star hotels was larger and more comfortable. It just didn't feel worth the price in terms of the room. However, the service was absolutely excellent and the rest of the hotel was beautiful. Every single person there went out of their way to make our experience beautiful. The grounds are pretty, the pool is great and the restaurant was delightful. We did do a spa treatment and really enjoyed that experience as well, though I could tell my masseuse was sometimes on her phone. She'd all of the sudden stop and I'd later hear the small click - a pet peeve of mine. Still, it was overall really nice. I'd definitely recommend if you have the budget! The room ended up being fine since we spent so little time in it, and it was made up for by the rest of the hotel and the staff. Don't let them charge you the $30 to the airport - it's a ten minute ride and you can get there by taxi for $3.

Best part of the trip is May in the restaurant, Kong in the boat trip in the river. Everyone is so kind and this is a very nice and convenient hotel in the e middle of everything. Will return!

After a month travelling across SouthEast Asia and staying in numerous 4 and 5 star hotels, this was the best. An excellent stay to conclude my vacation. The staff, facilities, food were of the highest standard. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Ideally located to allow you to work everywhere in Luang Prabang. Exceptional.
