The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace

"The Farmhouse" in Tech Terrace has the location and farmhouse charm you are looking for when coming to Lubbock for a game, or to enjoy visiting your student. Less than a mile from Texas Tech, and close to restaurants, the Medical District, and shopping. Easy access to Marsha Sharp, and I27, and only 10 minutes to the airport. "The Farmhouse" is an updated 1947 cottage that is in a great neighborhood with two parks and within easy walking distance to J&B Coffee, Capital Pizza, and grocery.

The Farmhouse in Tech Terrace is a 3 bedroom 2 bath 1400 sq ft home less than a mile from TTU. The main bathroom was updated in January of 2021. It is fully furnished and has orignal hardwood flooring in the living and bedroom areas. Sleep well on memory foam mattresses, and enjoy Direct TV's Entertainment package and 300 Mbps WiFi. Relax on the deck in the fenced backyard under a canopy of cafe' lights! We hope you'll feel down-home at "The Farmhouse"!

FYI: There is a small house at the back of the property that is unoccupied.

Great location!

We had a great stay! Loved the location being close to campus and the coffee shop and pizza place down the street were both great! Highly recommend if you’re looking to be close to campus. House has been updated and beds are very comfortable. Karen was great to work with too!

Perfect property for a Tech game weekend!

We loved our stay at the Farmhouse. Karen was wonderful to work with and very communicative and helpful. The property was clean, comfortable and updated, and a great walkable location to campus and a great coffee shop. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful! Everything was clean and decorated very nicely! Kitchen well equipped and great backyard deck with fire pit and area for outdoor games! Hosts are wonderful and quick to respond! We will definitely stay again!

Quick trip to Lubbock

We needed a place to stay near to Texas Tech for a 2-day event. The communications from the owner were helpful, friendly, and welcoming. We didn't spend much time in the house - basically just shower and sleep. But it was like staying at a friend's house. Very easy. Great layout. Nice deco.. Thankful!

Felt Like Home

We loved being back in Lubbock close to our houses we lived in while attending Texas Tech. Brought back so many college memories. The house was very homey and welcoming. It was nice to sit in the spacious, well kept back yard and watch the kids play.

Cozy Farmhouse

We totally loved our stay at the "Farmhouse". The house was very clean/updated and felt very homey. The back yard was very inviting in the evenings to hang out and relax in the evening. The neighborhood was super quiet and the doves in the trees in the morning were soothing to listen to with coffee in the AM out back. We would definitely look for this place for futures stays in Lubbock. Our Host was super communicative and very helpful - THANKS KAREN :)

Our favorite place to stay in Lubbock!

We stay at The Farmhouse every time we visit our son in Lubbock....we consider it our Lubbock home. It is cute, clean and comfortable! Great location....you can walk to a great coffee shop and pizza place and it is very close to Texas Tech. The owner, Karen, is great at communicating and always ensures that we have everything we need for our stay. Pets are welcome, and they even have dog bowls and leashes for you! Nice backyard with a deck, fire pit, and adirondack chairs. We just returned from another great weekend at The Farmhouse and will definitely be booking it again for our next visit!

ADORABLE!

We loved staying in this super charming house! It was our first time back to Lubbock in 15 years and the trip was made as comfortable as possible for our family of 5 in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath gem. The location is great (centrally located) and very comfortable. The kids loved playing all of the board games and we were happy to have them off of their devices! Thanks for opening up your great home to those of us who want to experience Lubbock on a game day weekend without all of the loud-ness!

Fantastic

We were in Lubbock to visit our granddaughter and attend a football game. The house was perfectly located to all we had planned to do. Plenty of room for various age groups to enjoy. The smaller kids played frisbee in the back yard and we enjoyed them having a safe space to burn off energy. Karen was a delight to work with and responded quickly to our questions. We hope to stay here again!

Relocation

Stayed while we waited for our daughter and son in law’s moving truck arrived. They had a big move and we were helping out. Moving is stressful. Fantastic Lubbock home

This home was very welcoming and accommodating. It felt like a home away from home and the owners thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Very Nice Tech Terrace

We stayed as a family of 5 for a wedding in Lubbock. The property was well kept and the home was great! It is close to Texas Tech and it was easy to get to both University Avenue and Indiana Avenue. We would stay here again!

Great stay in a quiet Lubbock neighborhood walking distance to Texas Tech

This is a great small house! Very comfortable. Reminded my wife and I of our first home. Well maintained with lots of character. Located in a quiet suburban neighborhood within walking distance of Texas Tech and no more than a 10 minute drive to everything else. We greatly enjoyed our stay!

Cute house. Great location. Outstanding host!

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving. This cute house is comfy and inviting. It had everything we needed. The firepit with wood provided, and the nice backyard were a favorite feature for us. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to check out the pizza place, coffee shop, brewery, and bakery right around the corner. Karen felt like a close friend rather than a host; checking to see if we had everything we needed and making sure our stay was perfect. Don’t miss your chance to stay here. We will be back!
