"Staff was exquisite at the front desk. Amenities are as advertised. This is NOT a jumpin party spot, it’s a relax and unwind vibe where you are treated the way you should be . Rooms are in great condition and the property is well maintained . Don’t miss the free ferry for excursions to Taino beach it’s a 5 minute ride !"
"We stayed at this resort for a week there was nothing to do. everything on their wedsite was false information. the pool bar was closed down, the spa wasnt open, the pool and hot tub were dirty. The outdoor bar Coconuts was terrible and the batendars ignored you and they weren't busy at all. We found huge roaches in our condo and the front desk gave us a hard time with moving us to another building/condo. 1st condo had a broken dishwasher and fridge door, no wash clothes, trash outside our door and we never got housekeeping. The food was decent and the private beach was nice but we did find a place around the corner called Junkanoo beach it's a 2 minute walk down the beach
from island of the seas. the food was amazing, friendly staff, a DJ, beach games, beautiful beach and lots of shells and sand dollars. We went there everyday. It made our vacation worth wild. I do not recommend Island of the Seas and woukd never go back. "

8/10 Good
"The staff were very nice, but appeared to be understaffed, from the year before. We have stayed at this resort for at least 7 years,,,,this year just seemed not to have all the activities and staff as the have had previously. "
"If you want to stay at a quiet, clean, relaxing, safe place, this is it. We cannot say enough good.We found everything in good working order. Any time we needed anything or had a question Leland, the property manager, who lives close by was on it quickly. Having a washer and drier on the property was a great feature. We were there for 3 weeks and enjoyed every minute. There is everything there to make sure you have a great time. The front porch is such an amazing place to have coffee and watch the sun rise in the morning and watch the sun set in the evening. We fished from the beach and caught fish and saw other ocean things. The whole time we were there, we only saw about 3 other people on the beach. At low tide you can search for shells and crab and small fish in the tide pools on the rocks in front of the house and walk on the sand bar to just enjoy the ocean. Be sure to get groceries before heading out as town is a ways away and who wants to keep going into town. The words "magical place" came up numerous times."
"Good bar, terrible hours (closed by 5pm). Restaurant undercooked EVERYTHING! I tried eating there twice and sent back the food both times. The room was run down and the beds were uncomfortable (could feel springs). The Taino beach resort pool was nice but no tubes were provided for the lazy river. There was no convenience store on the beach at all, had to ride ferry and wait an hour to buy anything. No supermarket even at Port Lucaya so groceries are out of the question. The whole place looks delapidated and forgotten"
