"I was in town for a work function, and it checked all the boxes. Safe, clean, quiet, and comfortable! The gentleman assisting me at check in was cordial and friendly, it was quick and easy. If I'm in the area again, I'll plan another stay here! Located in between downtown and where I needed to be for work. "

"Unique 1960s motel with updated features and decor. Staff was very nice. A beautiful outside sitting area with a large koi pond. Convenient to Carferry and downtown. Stayed in a large 2 room King suite which was clean and it had all of the amenities. Small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, sink, and some dishware. Bathroom was small, but that’s how they used to be back in the day. Other two rooms were very large."

" My stay at the Cartier Mansion in Ludington, Michigan, was a delightful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. This beautiful neoclassical mansion, dating back to the early 1900s, is a true gem in the heart of Ludington. The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with luxurious bedding and thoughtful amenities that made our stay truly relaxing. Jenna and Chris Simpler, the innkeepers, were exceptional hosts, displaying warm hospitality and catering to our every need with genuine care and attention to detail. Their passion for preserving the mansion’s rich history added a special touch to the experience. The breakfasts were a highlight, featuring creative, locally sourced dishes that were both interesting and delicious. However, for lighter eaters like myself, it would be great if they offered a continental breakfast option alongside the multi-course gourmet spread. Overall, the Cartier Mansion is a must-visit for anyone seeking a unique, history-filled getaway with outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying there again. "
