"The cabin is in a lovely setting surrounded by woods. It's been nicely renovated on the inside, and we enjoyed sitting outside as well. One caveat is that you should only plan on using the loft if you're comfortable with ladders and don't mind only a few feet of head room."

"Great location for a quiet get away. The dock is set up really nice for kids to be able to get in and out of the lake and the kayaks and paddleboards that they suppy were very fun. Lots of room for kids to run and play in the front and back of the house."

"The property was even better than expected and in 10 years of renting a family summer cabin at various VRBO’s , the host was the best by far. Best communication, best check in /check out instructions and timely responses. The layout worked well for our multi generational family( keep in mind there are stairs up and down /split level if anyone I. Your party can’t do stairs) , having 3 bathrooms was a huge plus, beds were comfortable and very well stocked kitchen. We usually bring water toys, life jackets, tubes, etc and this year they never left the car because they supplied everything !!! The close fire pit was a great benefit and the sandy beach ( along with even sand toys!) was great for the kids. The lake was extremely low so unfortunately no swimming but the fishing was excellent and the 3 kayaks was great fun. Highly recommend the property!"

"We loved our stay at this cute little cabin! It’s clear that the owners have put a lot of thought into remodeling and upgrading the cabin to bring a warm, inviting atmosphere. While the cabin was small, it had everything that we needed, including extra blankets for snuggling into when enjoying cool mornings on the tree season porch enjoying the peaceful calm of the lake, and beach towels for some kayaking fun. Plenty of dishes and pots/pans/utensils too. Our 5-year old managed the stairs (ladder-stairs) like a champ and there was room for all three of us upstairs with his air mattress tucked against the wall (comfy cozy style!). The little bay that the cabin is tucked into isn’t great for swimming, but it is great for kayaks (provided) or canoe, and there are so many fish under the dock for little ones to feed. We drove to Pelican Lake beach for swimming, which we’d recommend to others. We loved how close we were to the bike trail and enjoyed doing some biking up and down the trail. Nisswa is very close, either by bike or by car, and we stopped there a couple of times for some shopping and food. Highly recommend this cabin! Thank you for sharing your property with us!"

"Great five bedroom property. We loved the private location on the peninsula and loved having the pontoon. It's a relaxing location and a fun custom designed house layout. The lake is fairly shallow but we caught quite a few fish. The pool table and pac man was fun. Good communication with host."
