A Good Hotel

A good hotel, an oasis in a somewhat run-down neighborhood. They were very accommodating, although charges for services (cab to a local site) seemed high. They had some power problems overnight. The food at the restaurant was not delicious, but satisfactory.

Improvement required

We checked in first week of June.-17.we changed three rooms for one night stay.AC cooling was very poor.At midnight electricity went off and they started generator after a long wait .Rooms were clean and room boy who was there at the time of check- in was very supportive.Area wise it is at the good location.If they maintain service it would be praiseworthy- J K Verma

Not worth staying there!

I stayed full 4 nights in this hotel. I didn't have high expectations because Bhairawaha itself is such a small town and you would struggle to access facilities. The hotel is not for tourists - in any case, the nearest tourist place (Lumbini) is quite far from here. The hotel property is huge and well-built but it seems the management is struggling to maintain it. A dirty pond in its backyard reveals the ugly details. The rooms have balconies but they haven't been cleaned for ages. So you would not want to stand and look out. When booking the trip, I had requested the hotel to arrange taxi pickup from airport. They agreed at an additional charge but the taxi never came when I reached Bhairawaha. I hired one on my own and reached the hotel. When I asked them why they didn't send the taxi, they started looking at each other and then started making never-ending calls. The room's telephone never worked. Water in the bathroom sink got blocked. There is no running hot water - you get hot water during certain hours of the day only. Internet wifi signal never reached my room so I had to sit in the hotel lobby to get good speed. Seems like the hotel does not care about your experience but will make sure to charge you well. Would not recommend it to anyone especially at the high price they offer.

average hotel for short stay

With a limited option of good hotel in Bhairawaha, this hotel despite being average grade is OK for 1-2 days stay. Billing process is manual and infact I was charged wrongly for room despite I had already paid to Expedia. Anyhow, hotel later promised to settle the issue.

Just about OK..!!

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night as we were visiting lumbini. The hotel is about 40 minutes drive from maya devi temple. The rooms are big but the overall room ambience is very dull. The bathroom badly need to be upgraded as they are very basic. The food served in the hotel restaurant is very nice although service is bit slow. Hot water in bathrooms is from morning 6 am till 8 am only which makes it bit difficult if you are not an early riser.

Pleasant stay

Stayed for 2 weeks while working. Overall the staff are friendly and well organized. Everything was clean. The restaurant was reasonable with a good selection although many things were not available on the menu. Was nice to have AC considering it was 40 C everyday. Would stay again.

Pleasant Hotel experience

We stayed for four nights. It was the best hotel we found close to the border with India. The gardens, trees and shrubs were well thought through and looked after. It really gave a sense of peace and serenity to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food on the whole was good. My son doesn't like spice, and there was enough for him to be happy, which made our stay more enjoyable. The staff also went out of their way to assist us, as we had two children in the room with us. One of the only negatives was that the shower was often only tepid. Nothing like a good hot shower.
