This 1.6 mile trail (one way) ascends 1050' to the 2nd highest point in the San Juan Islands. Have an incredible evening/meal at Willows Inn, then hike this the day after to burn some calories. The preserve is incredible, and on a nice day the color, sun streaks, waterfalls and wildlife will not disappoint. One of the many reasons to live in the bountiful Pacific Northwest!

This is a view from the deck of a little slice of Heaven just a stones throw from Seattle and Vancouver (from the N and S). Peaceful, serene, incredibly tranquil; leave the chaos of the big city behind, and get up here (sea plane is preferred mode of transport). Can you hear the ocean?
