This was the cutest little spot, beautifully decorated and clean. The town was so picturesque and all in walking distance of little shops and restaurants. Lovely little sailboats dotted along the shore. Nice outdoor sitting area with bbq. Definitely would stay again if I come back to Mahone Bay. Pam & David were awesome hosts very friendly.

This property was very clean, fully equipped for cooking, and quiet. The location was close to the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg and the quaint town of Chester which were interesting to visit. We were pleased with our stay.

Lovely stay at Pam’s beautiful place. Steps to all the attractions in Mahone Bay and a short drive to many scenic spots along the South Shore. Very clean place with everything you need. Stunning decor and comfy, feels like home!

Lovely Mahone Bay Hideaway

We wanted to see Nova Scotia for the first time and enjoy a much needed rest at the same time. Pam and Dave's Hideaway fit the bill beautifully. We enjoyed two peaceful rejuvenating weeks in this cozy retreat, close to the ocean, lovely beaches, great food and dining, and great sights. The Hideaway is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, quiet, and very comfortable, Should you be looking for a perfect place to stay in beautiful Nova Scotia, you can't do better than the Hideaway!

Perfect cottage getaway

This was a beautifully decorated cottage with more than everything you need or want for a great couples getaway. You could walk to the Main Street of town or drive to numerous other towns nearby in about 10 to 20 minutes. We loved it.

Amazing Stay, Amazing Host

This is one of the best, if not the best, places we have stayed. The cottage has everything, including a private patio for outdoor dining. The host has thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. An easy walk to the downtown area and eateries and shops. Definitely have coffee at the Barn. Cannot recommend this cottage enough. Home away from home

This property was beautiful. It was beautifully decorated and warm and cozy. They thought of everything you could possibly need and it was a short and easy walk into town. Also, only 35 minutes to the best beaches in Nova Scotia. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We loved it!!!

Mahone Bay Gem

The cottage is located within walking distance to the village of Mahone Bay. The cottage is sparkly clean and stocked with everything you might need. While we were there, Nova Scotia experienced an unexpected heat wave. The A/C worked beautifully. We highly recommend this property!

Cute cottage in the heart of town

This cottage was an ideal location to visit Mahone Bay and nearby Lunenburg as well as a center point for more wide distance exploring including Peggy’s Cove, Yarmouth, and Digby. The cottage has everything you need and is just the right size for 2 people. Enough storage for personal effects. I would definitely come back to The Hideaway for any future trips to Nova Scotia! Pam and David are great hosts and make sure you have everything you need!

Great location and Everything you need

We just got back from our road trip to the Maritimes and wanted to thank Pam for a lovely stay at her cottage getaway. Her cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchen was a great size and lots of glassware and dishes. Parking was great just at the end of the lane, and there was lots of brochure's for idea's to go out exploring the area. The description is very accurate. It was the cleanest stay we have ever had. Nicely decorated and well furnished. We wanted to stay longer. Beyond that, we had some car issues and the hosts Dave and Pam offered assistance like we were friends or family, even reaching out to us the next day. Wonderful cottage, nice people.

Sweet little cottage - perfect for a romantic getaway

We would definitely choose this place again if we stay in Mahone Bay again. It was very clean, well kept and adorable. Kitchen was fully functional. Small, but perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway, or a couple with a small child. My only slightly negative comment is that the bed is a queen, not a king, and the listing does not specify the size of bed. But that's just a very minor point and I would still stay here again.
