The Space:

Cold mountain air drifts through the trees as evening settles, and steam rises from the hot tub while the sky darkens over the Shenandoah Valley. Inside, the glow from the wood stove reflects off tall windows, casting a warm, inviting light across the two‑story great room. Mornings arrive quiet and bright, coffee in hand, with views that remind you how far you are from the rush of everyday life. Whether you’re winding down after a hike or simply savoring a lazy day, the chalet feels like a gentle pause in nature’s rhythm.



Sleeping arrangements

The chalet sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. Bedroom 1 features a king bed. Bedroom 2 holds a full bed, has no door but remains a quiet, private sleeping space. Bedroom 3 also includes a full bed. Two bathrooms serve the home, one with a bathtub, and bathroom essentials are provided.



Kitchen & dining

A fully stocked kitchen offers plenty of prep space, coffee, and all the basics for simple breakfasts or family dinners. A dining table nearby invites you to gather for meals, while a TV and sound system provide easy evenings in.



Outdoor living

Wineries and charming small‑town stops are also close by, making the property a convenient home base for discovering the area.



Water & cleaning notes

Tap water in the region has a yellow‑light brown appearance due to natural iron and manganese; it is safe to drink, though a slight sulfur smell may be present. We recommend bringing bottled water for peace of mind. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs, and walkways before each arrival, but you may still notice leaves, pollen, or similar natural traces, especially during certain seasons.
