価格は以前に比べてリーズナブルになりました。ただし、朝食ビュッフェが20米ドルほどしますので、宿泊条件を確認しましょう。空港まではシャトルバス、17米ドルですが、都市中心部より空港側にあり、渋滞に巻き込まれることはないので、時間がよめて、便利です。湯沸かし、コーヒー、紅茶があるのも、よいです。

Great overall value and amenities

While not a new property, there is a converted effort to make it comfortable and clean. The grounds are expansive with impalas frequently eating grass and roaming the well groomed areas. Very nice playset for kids in an African theme. Friendly staff and location is central enough to be useful to most in Lusaka. Good family or business stay hotel. Prices are reasonable and the staff at the massage/salon are superb.

Safari feel close to the city

Have stayed here before with my son on a fishing trip and it has a sort of safari feel about it. As I stood by the pool this morning in the sun, listening to crickets and watching the elan graze in teh local garden, it felt rather relaxing. The staff is attentive and kind. When I had a request to clean my floor in room it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. The building and rooms are a bit tired but it balances with the remote feel close to the city and close to the airport. Their pick up fee could be a bit lower but again it is efficient and staff helpful. Would return here vs other places due to the relaxed feel. Gym and massage facility also available.

I have stayed here many times but I think this was the most disappointing. Though we requested rooms on the inside of the hotel we were given rooms on the road side of the hotel. There was an air conditioning unit running on and off all night. I was also asked the absurd price of 340kwacha for four bacon sandwiches because we wanted an early start. The staff in general are good though.

Cresta Golfview Lusaka - Zambia

I was pleasantly surprised with the Cresta Golfview Hotel in Lusaka, Zambia. The hotel is not new or modern in anyway. There is nothing out of the ordinary and nothing to write home about in terms of the room, the hotel itself , the restaurant and the meals. It is well maintained, very neat and clean, and the staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The rooms are quite small, and the bathroom is very cramped, but everything works, its clean and perfectly fine if you staying for a couple of days on business. The restuarant is quite spartan in terms of furnishings, and there is not much variety on the menu. The food was average and the servicing sizes quite big. All in all fair value for money. The breakfast buffet was quit limited in terms of choices, however more than adequate to cover most peoples needs and tastes. Free Wifi is available, and worked quite well during my stay. The hotel is quite conveniently located on one of the main roads, with the shopping malls of East Park and Manda Hill within a short drive away. However getting into town form this location can be quite challenging due to the very heavy traffic and road works.

Feel good!

This is not the first time I have stayed here and my return for two nights in march and another in April shows my like for the place. Alice in reception is a beautiful welcome upon arrival and others of the staff are also good. Patson in the restaurant is one that springs to mind. The bar could do with a bit of attention as could the restaurant but apart from that the food is good and the beef cold. My only real complaint would be one I made before. There are to many staff hanging around in the corridors in the afternoon supposedly cleaning but shouting to each other along the lengfh of the corridor. Not good when trying to sleep after a long flight. All in all I like the Cresta.

Pool was dirty. Water machine in gym wasn't functional & no towels provided in gym. Iron only on request & was rusty/burnt, leaving stains on clothes; no ironing board. Hair dryer only on request was very weak. No wash towels provided. Photos do not depict reality.

Convenient and clean hotel

Room very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast not good for the price - no buffet as too few customers so no choice on hot breakfast.

Disappointing stay at Cresta Golfview Hotel.

Check-out was very slow. Room was OK, but the shower was a disaster. The shower curtain was not plasticized and the shower head partly clogged so the water spurted up and leaked all over the floor and into the room and doorway. Very unpleasant after a long day of traveling. I should add that we were only at this hotel overnight between two flights, so did not have time to look at the grounds which looked appealing on the website.

Not quite good enough

The Cresta Golfview has similar room rates to much nicer hotels in Lusaka. Although the property is beautiful, much of the interior is dated and the staff were quite sub-par. Made an Expedia booking and prepaid, but the front desk staff couldn't find the booking details and were quite unpleasant about it. They made me feel as if I had done something wrong to cause their frustration (e.g. eye-rolling, deep sighs, etc). Overall it is a pretty decent hotel with some really bright points by Zambian standards, but this kind of poor service was a far cry from what I experienced at some of the other top-tier Lusaka hotels.
