"Great house well-equipped for large groups. The house was super comfortable with spaces and entertainment for adults and kids. The kitchen is very well equipped despite not having a stove/oven, and it’s clear the owners have put in every effort to make sure you have everything you need. We mostly missed out on the absolutely beautiful mt. hood views due to rain - I guess we’ll have to visit again soon!"

"This spotlessly clean home is set far off the road in a woodland setting along a river. The large windows and light-colored wood make the home feel bright and cheery even on overcast days. The kitchen is well-supplied with nice cook ware and there is plenty of seating at the dining table. "The home was great and the view was even better! The house had everything we needed and it was nice and secluded. The kitchen was completely stocked with spices, utensils, and coffee that was not expected but greatly appreciated! Our only concern was some wasp we found the first night. We found about 8 wasp in bedrooms and the kitchen the first night we were there. After that we didn’t have any problem. Overall would recommend 10/10!"

"We found this unit to be perfect for our needs. The location worked out very well. This will be our go to place whenever we visit our daughter, sil, and grandchildren. We also went to the observatory which was very close to the vrbo home. If convenience, close proximity to everything, clean and spacious is what you’re looking for look no further. "The house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The furnishings, the beds and bedding, the kitchen supplies - all were great. We had one sunny day when we enjoyed the magnificent view from the deck. When the rains came on day two, the view was different, but still beautiful. The location is wonderful, and we were able to easily explore Hood River, White Salmon, and the surrounding areas. Would definitely rent here again."

"Beautiful home - very solidly built in the craftsman style. Very walkable - Mike’s ice cream is a 6 min walk, many other places are close. Parking in the garage is great, but you can’t close the garage door from the outside. What people say about the stairs is true - there are 17 stairs to get to the main living area, and another 16 stairs to get to the bedrooms. This wasn’t a problem for us, but it was difficult for my elderly father. The one floor suite right next door was perfect for him...

"We enjoyed our stay. The check in process was easy and we liked the location. However, it could have been a little cleaner. The back yard needs a lot of attention and there was quite a bit of dog poop that we had to clean up on arrival to the house."

"Had a wonderful stay. Like the other reviews have mentioned, parking was a little tricky, but since we walked everywhere, it really didn't matter to us. Location is central to everything, you can walk to the river and around town--no problem. There are a lot of stairs in the unit, it didn't bother us, just something to be aware of. "All really great. Just a couple of suggestions. Downstairs shower has low water pressure and some electrical plugs need to be updated. Road noise is an issue but we did fine with it. Carpet and linoleum could be updated for a nicer experience. All in all we would definitely stay there again."

"We stayed here for my husbands birthday weekend. The pool caught our eye, and the pictures are very well done. Upon arriving, there is NO sign to tell you where the house is off the highway. You have to go through a gravel patch, and through what looks to be a junk yard. Getting to the door, and inside all lights at property were off except a flickering almost burnt out light in the kitchen. "Stayed here as a racing team. House was clean, had good amenities, very comfortable and cozy. Host was great with communication. Would stay here again. Only thing to note is the bed/bedroom description was not accurate. Worked out for us and we let the property manager know they should update the listing, they assured us they would. As of writing this review, it had 2 king beds, 1 full/double bed and a twin bed with a pullout trundle."
