Discover Foreverwater, our cottage by the creek, nestled on 17 wooded acres along side Barren Fork Creek minutes from Leipers Fork Village with direct access to the historic dirt path back roads of eastern Hickman County, Lyles TN. This writer's retreat was once home to guitar maker and author, R. O. Barton (The Tucker Novels).

Leverage this fully furnished home as your seasonal escape to the country, your home between homes, or as your rural office complete with high speed broadband internet. Two large bedrooms, each with their own large cedar closets and full baths, flow into an open plan common area with a large stone fireplace, spacious living room, and a modern eat-in country kitchen. Stayed here for a few days to celebrate my birthday. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather so we could sit outside and enough the peace and tranquility of the surroundings. The cottage was well appointed with everything you needed for cooking and bed linen was of high quality. Close to Leipers Fork which is worth a visit. We'd stay here again if we're ever in the area.

The place was really nice. It’s a bit remote, which is why I gave the location 3.stars. But it was just what I was looking for. The master bathroom was huge, and really nice. it even had a urinal, which I really appreciated. The creek was nice too. It was just what I was looking for.

This is a great place to enjoy some “unplugged” time. Rural setting is breathtaking! The sound of the rolling creek is relaxing. The quiet atmosphere is a much needed break. If you just want some R&R, I recommend. We already want to come back!!

Very nice stay in an out of the way location. We enjoyed the view from the wall to wall windows of the creek. Our granddaughter enjoyed the fire pit. Well appointed stay with a few small (good) surprises.

My family and I were impressed as soon as we pulled up to the gate. This property is beautiful and well maintained. The creek flowing through the yard was fun to play in and the house was quite accommodating. We plan to make this our place to stay whenever we are in the area.

My husband and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary with a night away at this cabin. It was so restful and peaceful. All the decor and touches invited you in to enjoy your time. The view and master bathroom were amazing. The bed was comfortable and we were able to slow down, enjoy the view, the fire pit and the stay. We definitely want to go back!

From the cozy decor to the fully stocked kitchen.One of the standout features was the beautiful creek running through the property, adding a peaceful and calming atmosphere to the entire stay. The host was exceptional—responsive, communicative, and genuinely attentive to our needs. It was clear they put a lot of effort into making sure guests felt welcome.A lovely surprise was the thoughtful addition of snacks and drinks upon our arrival. After a long car ride, it was such a welcome sight.Overall, this was an incredibly relaxing and enjoyable getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Great place. Yet, best place we ever stayed through Vrbo. Clean, secluded. All toiletries, snacks, coffee provided……I did not agreed with all the requirements before check out. I believe the cleaneg fee should be enough to take out trachea/ load dishwasher, yams all other things required.

Such an awesome place to stay as a family. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the abundance of space and the proximity to the river. The house was perfect, and the master bath is legendary. In addition, the communication from the property manager was impeccable and they were ready for us ahead of schedule which was a welcome surprise as we were traveling with tired children. This will definitely be our first choice if we are in the area again.

This is a lovely cottage and, had it not been so cold, it would have been a perfect location for our family Thanksgiving. I was disappointed to learn that what looked like a roaring fire in the photos was candles burning in the fireplace, but Nathan was kind enough to stop by with space heaters and we warmed up well enough. It was a quick drive off I-840 with a bit of a rough driveway, but the house was worth it.
