"Firstly, our hosts were fantastic – they made us feel very welcome. Their family were also very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was perfect for our family, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was clean, comfortable, and had a great private garden area for relaxing in the hot tub. The location was perfect for our visit to Paultons Park, with it being just a stone's throw away. The local pub recommended by Chris and Lisa was fantastic. Just a 5-minute walk away, it had some elite-level...

"We reserved a private room for 2 people with private shower, toilet, sink. No mention of stairs. Also a kitchen for cooking given dietary concerns. When we arrived, there were 2 sets of stairs, ONE single bed and no shower! We called the property and no one responded. We had to find another last minute hotel at higher price and multiple transportation costs as a result. We would not take our shows off here, let alone sleep here! It is in deplorable condition, no ventilation. The photos on...

"I couldn't get in to the property. I arrived at around 7pm and put the code into the door lock and turned the handle only to find that the door was also locked with another lock I phoned the contact number on the booking confirmation only to find it was an office and nobody was there, so I left a message, I never had a reply. I rang Hotels.com, who were very helpful. But they were unable to get me a refund. I had not read the reviews for the place, but I sugest that if you want to make booking...

"I have one big complaint and that is the lighting is very poor ."

The Winchester Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"The property itself was very nice, clean, incredibly helpful staff, and its quite close to the winchester train station. my only gripe would be that the masseuses are only available until 3pm or so in the evening and aren't available early in the morning so unfortunately we couldn't make use of that perk."
