It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room. "This was a lovely find. Great location as a home base for traveling the area. Grocery not far as well as restaurants and shops. Quieter area and accommodations were clean, tidy, there’s a sitting area to enjoy outside. Great for a group of 4. Easy access to Aran Island Ferry (all day trip), bus stop outside of home to take a bus into Galway. Also about an hour from Ashford castle with Falconry! "

"The heat is controlled by the staff and is turned on from 9-11:00pm (only) It was extremely cold ( it actually hailed in the afternoon) and I had to ask for a second comforter - in addition to the extra blanket in the closet. "
