"Get away from the world for a while"

Cottage is set on 25 acres, on the side of a hill, above the tree lined Angus river. It is a self catering rural retreat for 2 people. The non hosted B&B accommodation is set up as a romantic getaway for two, completely private from the road on a working beef cattle farm.
Included are previsions for full cooked breakfasts for each day.
There is no BBQ, oven or hot plates but we have an electric frying pan, microwave, toaster, kettle bar fridge utensils etc. There are 2 pubs and a cafe in Macclesfield with good food and they can do take away.
For safety we do not allow candles to be used in or around the cottage but we have supplied some solar lights instead.
Because Mirrabooka is designed to "Get away from the world for a while" there is no TV, but we do have games, books and peace & quiet. Also NO WIFI but you can get mobile coverage.
The bedroom and lounge open out onto the balcony where the spa bath is screened by bamboo and roller blinds if you want.

A Great Romantic Escape & Home Away from Home

Our accomodation in Macclesfield while we were attending a Wedding at a local winery was Absolutely FANTASTIC in all aspects. The peace & tranquillity of the beautiful countryside setting, the well appointed cottage , the quaint decor & the lovely spa on the deck was so relaxing. It couldn’t have been more perfect & our Superhost was so accommodating with a last minute change too. So, all in all, we LOVED our time in Macclesfield & we’ll definitely be back!! Quiet paradise

Perfect getaway so peaceful, quiet and Isolated. Hotel down the road had great food. We didnt want to leave the spa, perfect for 2 people. Breakfast was great, bacon and eggs yum. Nicky was an amazing host and great with communication, will defintely go back.
