Essential amenities were on the doorstep but there were a number of houses and business premises ‘for sale’ indicative of a declining community. This said, it was a good holiday with friendly locals and a good base for exploring the Orne/La Perche region."

"The manager was on reception when we arrived early Saturday evening. He advised on an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance, Helped us with our luggage. The room was large and clean. It did not have air conditioning but did have a very good fan which kept us cool. Breakfast was very good with excellent Coffee and fresh Croissants and Baguettes. "

"The building is stunning. The room was great. The grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super relaxing. Dogs are welcome and there is enough space for them to roam free. Maybe annoying if you don’t like dogs! Continental breakfast is very good but is a bit overpriced at €18. That’s the only complaint. Overall it’s a magical place. "
