"Cottage is remarkable in that seven large windows run across the back with full lake views. When you walk in, it's almost like walking onto water. Cottage is well-appointed, and decor is lovely. Bed is very comfortable, as is seating, and there are window shades throughout. Outside, the stairs and deck are well-built and solid. Use of a kayak was much appreciated. It's a quiet area with lots of trees and shade. Swimming was terrific. However: Track lighting in living room didn't work; there are no reading lights (2 lamps far from seating are purely decorative), so I read with a flashlight. No reading lights in bedroom. Visible debris on floors and carpet stuck to my feet, so I swept at arrival. I had to clean observable grimy handprints off fridge handles and door. Kitchen counter was not clean. Underside of kitchen trashcan lid was covered with crud (clearly months old), and no foot-pedal so you must open by grasping lid. Heavy drip/pour when shower off; I dulled noise with towels so could sleep. If plumber can't fix, replace! None of rear outdoor decorative lights worked. Outdoor cushions moldy. Food chunks at rear lawnchairs on ground. All of this should be checked before a renter arrives. Re communication, once second host took over Vrbo messaging on arrival day, it was excellent. Prior, I had to call Vrbo and they pursued responses to two brief queries. First host gave her cell after Vrbo got involved, but even on arrival day, a short text went unanswered."

"We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It was the cleanest rental I have ever used through VRBO. The quietness of the bay where the cottage is located was amazing. So relaxing. It was an awesome experience to watch local lobster fisherman working in the bay, while we relaxed around the fire. I would highly recommend this rental."

"This cabin ahas all the modern comfort you will need to enjoy your time at the lake. Our granddaughters loved it as well as our 2 labs. Anne was exceptional at quickly answering all our questions. The improvements that were made I believe in 2023, they definitely spared no expense they were done right and looks to have taken thought as to the comfort as well as the general beauty of it and keeping with nature and not destroying any of it, right down to the beautiful large boulders made into steps. We appreciated all that went into the remodel, and how well the cabin was stocked. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this little Beauty on the lake."

"This is a lovely property hosted by friendly attentive host. The information on check in was accurate and easy to follow. The information binder was helpful. Great sitting area close to the water with a beautiful view. Patio has comfortable furniture. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities like coffee, creamer, salt, pepper, some spices, plastic bags and wrap, paper towel, etc. Lots of dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. The living room area has comfortable chairs and couch for relaxing. All went well for a relaxing 3 day get away. Would definitely book again if in that area."

"My family liked this place. It’s very peaceful and quiet. We could see and hear loons on the lake. House is equipped with everything necessary for cooking. It’s nicely decorated and organized inside. Everything is exactly as it’s described."

"We absolutely loved the house & location! Mostly everything we could need while there we found somewhere in the house, there was plenty of downed trees for firewood, a wheel barrow would have been helpful but we put the kids to work! The view was stunning! Our stay was made even better after we discovered Caler cove lobster company not far from the house(approx. 10 minutes) Bub mans the wharf-he was amazing with the freshest lobster & crab around!! Definitely check them out!"
