"This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination."

"The first thing you should know is that this is not a hotel. It's an apartment with two flats, one on the second floor and one on the third floor, above a storefront about half way between the Ueno and Asakusa stations. That said, it's not bad as a rental apartment, and was a good fill-in for us when our Air BnB booking was cancelled on short notice. All of the communication with the owner was via the Expedia site - we never met anyone in person, but got check-in instructions via messages...

"The convenience of being next to the train station that connects directly to the airport is key to my selection. Plus, it's on the main Yamanote Line and serves as a transfer station to many other great places to visit. The views are fantastic, there's a 7-11 and other useful shops in the hotel, as well as a food court and bowling alley! This is our family's choice of hotels whenever staying in Tokyo."

"This was our second time staying here. The first time was definitely better. There seem to be something going with the a/c in the elevator section, which was weird. The room we got this time had a broken shower head and was not replaced. Also, it was our first encounter with the person over the counter giving a vibe that he just did not want to be there. However, we still love the esthetic of the hotel, the smell, the restaurant, access to the market. And if you are going to be attending the Disney parks, I definitely recommend you stay here, the train station is super near. Besides that you need a taxi or train route everywhere else."
