"There was no staff on site and the owner was rude when I had called to speak to him. We were travelling with friends and drove 4 hours from home. When we got to Hush we found out the owner has given away our friends reservation. There were still empty rooms and cottages that we were told were already booked, but when we were there, no one had shown up. On Expedia it says that it is pet friendly. "Staff were friendly and pleasant at check-in. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. It is clear that efforts are being made sustain a high standard of cleanliness. The Air Conditioner was doing its job (almost too well). The location being just steps away from the water is great. Barry's Bay is an interesting place to visit and the local people and lovely."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Barry's Bay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the property was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway.The cottage was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was especially well-equipped for families with children, with plenty of amenities that made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. Our daughter was obsessed with the zipline our entire stay! We appreciated the use of the boat and kayaks! Communication with our host was super easy. Instructions for the cottage were readily accessible and super helpful. The public beach and the fry-shack just down the road were amazing gems to discover. We also appreciated the firewood for our campfires!If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this cottage is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again, in fact, we're eagerly waiting for an opening to book next summer!"

"A great off grid getaway.Very secluded private setting in nature. Beautiful setup. Outdoor shower was a highlight with the view of the trees and the sky. BBQ worked great. Host was very attentive to ensure battery remained charged and there was enough water for the stay.Eggs delivered by the host ALL had the most brightest orange yolks. A nice contrast from store bought.Located within short drive to explore the area's natural beauty and local amenities."
