"Tom's Rustic Cottage was a great escape from the city. The cottage had everything we needed, bedding, kitchen supplies, and a fire pit for smores. The lake was clean, peaceful, and didn't have any seaweed tickling my toes. Best of all, we were able to bring our dogs and spend a week with them enjoying the outdoors. Great Stay."

"We stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We loved the spacious, modern, comfortable indoor spaces. The private beach area was great for small children. We could jump into the clear lake water from the dock. It was fabulous to use the suberb sauna with a view and the hot tub! We loved the 3 kayaks, paddleboard and canoe! Watercraft for everyone! We appreciated the abundance of seating areas, tables, hammock and swings on the upper deck and patio too."

"Beautiful cottage . Clean, well equipped and wonderfully furnished. Fully equiped kitchen with complementary coffee. Conveniently located close to Barry's Bay ( 8 minutes drive) with all it's shops and restaurants. Wilno Tavern 1 minute away. Fully fenced , large dog park on the property with picnic bench. Muskoka chairs for outdoor seating. Plenty of privacy, surrounded by woods. Host, Kelly, quick to response. "

"We had a great time at Gramma’s on the Lake. Could not have asked for a more beautiful location, quiet and private! This was our first time using VRBO so we weren’t sure how the check-in process or communication would be - and it was seamless. Due to user error (me), I had a bit of an issue with the code getting in so I connected with our hosts who were immediately responsive and we were in within minutes with no issues. The property is beautiful, well maintained and clean as is the cottage interior which is a must if we’re going to be comfortable! Every amenity of home is available, all we had to do is bring a few groceries to keep for our stay and a trip to town is 10 mins away so it didn’t take so much away from a day when we needed to pick up a forgotten supply. We were so fortunate to have such beautiful weather and our hosts let us use their kayaks so we spent many hours on the water and exploring the islands. When we weren’t on the water we played many rounds of badminton or just relaxed in the fully screened-in room enjoying the view and serenity of the property. We will definitely be connecting to re-book at this property when we book next year’s vacations from work but for a full week next time. "Such a beautiful cottage and area! A nice and quiet lake. We stayed with some friends and all our kids. The shallow beach was perfect for the kids to play in and lots of sand to build castles. The cottage is very spacious for us all. We had a blast and will definitely rent again. The owners were super friendly and easy to get a hold of. Place is very clean and organised too. "
