On the water

Lovely property. Well maintained. Plenty of privacy on the deck overlooking the water. Neighbors were friendly. Access by boat to the entire Madison chain of lakes. Short walking distance to excellent boat launch was much appreciated. Some nice dining and entertainment opportunities along the waterfront nearby. A great experience all around.

Perfect Stay

We absolutely loved our stay at Doll House and we were all amazed at all the details and all the considerations that the hosts took in making sure the guests are happy. By far the best Vrbo we have ever stayed at, based on how well stocked everything is, the house, the rooms, the yard, the location etc. Perfect!! We hope to visit again soon.

Excellent time at the dollhouse.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed are stay. The boat dock was great for my kids to fish off of and the near by bait shop was nice. It was a great location just 10 minutes or so from downtown Madison. Nick and Shirley were quick to get back with us to answer any questions we had. I highly suggest staying at this location. It is very peaceful place to stay.

Dollhouse

We so enjoyed our stay at this wonderful place. Nice amenities and it was well stocked. Loved being on the river for great fishing and a boat parade. The owners were great to us and understanding of a health crisis we faced. We would love to stay there again.

Ladies’ retreat.

Very clean, comfortable, good beds with massagers, plenty of paper products and a welcome to anything in the kitchen. We loved sitting on the deck watching the boats on the river behind us. As we love games in the evening, the variety available to us was tremendous. Overall, great experience.

Amazing perfect tental

Only 7 minutes to the expo center where we were attending the world dairy expo so location was great. Food and groceries were close as well as downtown Madison. The house was stocked better than my own not missing a thing. This was definitely the best rental I’ve ever stayed in.

Comfortable, clean, convenient stay

We had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay and meals together (kitchen was fully stocked). The host was very responsive and accommodating. Our only suggestion would be to consider getting different pillows for the master bedroom - they were a bit high, but others may prefer that. It was a quick drive to get to everything in Madison and easy to get around.

Great fall weekend

The property is new, very clean, well stocked, and has all the amenities you need. Best part is the location, right on the waterway. You can see/hear the highway but it’s behind a wall of vegetation. Less than 10 minutes from the capitol, with easy access to the highway to get around. Communication with property manager was prompt and helpful. Hope to stay here again!

A Magnificent Madison Mansion!

After staying at a hotel during the week of a sporting festival last year, my husband and I decided to find a house for the week of the 2023 games - and boy are we glad we did! This home is so full of comfort, space, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful views that it made this year’s trip so much better than our hotel-based trip the year before. The comfortable and adjustable beds, the views of the river from the backyard, the private garage, the thoughtful wine and cheese, the sparkling clean interior, the easy to follow house guide, the beautiful kitchen, the proximity to the games site, the spacious washrooms, and the quiet neighbourhood are just some of the reasons why we loved this property. We have stayed at some amazing properties over the past 5-6 years, and this ranks right up there with the best experiences we have ever had. Highly recommended!
