We loved the location of this property. Walking distance to all of the main sights in Madrid. The one problem we had getting inside was addressed immediately. I think it was an error on my part.

Fantastic apartment in Sol/Gran Via area

We were so impressed by this apartment that we ended up wishing we had more than just one night there. It was incredibly spacious, with 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths spread over two floors, a very modern full kitchen, and a gorgeous terrace. We will certainly look for this unit again on our next trip.

Excellent Apartment

The apartment is spacious and the balcony outstanding! Close, within a 20 minute walk, to all major sights in Madrid. Located in a quiet street. There is a lift, which is convenient when carrying bags. Plenty of privacy between the 2 bedrooms and the living room area. Check in was easy and the staff very accommodating to requests. Would recommend it to anyone in a group of 3 or more.

Mixed experience—would not stay again

The apartment was in an excellent location, spacious, clean and was reasonably well equipped, except the very uncomfortable worn-out couch. We had a HORRIBLE smell for two full days of our stay. The smell required us to keep the windows open despite the December cold and to fumigate with candles and air freshener. When we called to complain, the woman who answered the phone was seemed genuinely concerned and promised to send the maintenance person the following morning when we were visiting the Prado, but if he came, and I have no reason to think he did, the odor was as bad when we returned. We called back desperate for a solution or to be moved to a different apartment. The same woman answered and she was very considerate. She came to investigate in person she was shocked that the odor was “like a dead animal.” Those were her words. She left and told us the maintenance man would be there in about an hour. Around 30 minutes later she called us in tears because the maintenance man simply refused to leave his house to fix our problem. The sweet woman was literally crying in frustration and extremely sympathetic and also very apologetic. She told the manager but the manager never contacted us. The maintenance man finally came the next day. We lived in the apartment for 2 days with that horrible garbage-like stench. The manager never called, never visited and when we asked for a partial refund, they gave us less than 1/2 the cost of one-day’s rent.

Comfortable spot in great location

Very easy check in. Apartment was ready early. Quiet building with comfortable beds. Very functional kitchen. Nice showers. Sofa bed in the living room was pretty worn but fairly comfortable to sit on—did not try to use it for sleeping. Washer/dryer got clothes clean but needed some drying on the rack.

Great Location

We enjoyed our 4 nights in Madrid at this VRBO. Plenty of space for our family of 4. The sofa and chairs in the Living Room could be replaced as they are very worn. Also, the Pillows in the bedrooms could be replaced and did not have extra pillows in the upstairs bedroom. Over all would recommend anyone staying here but again please update the furniture.

Soggiorno all'appartamento in calle de los Madrazo

E' stato tutto perfetto, dalla cortesia e disponibilita' della societa' che gestisce l'appartamento all'organizzazione sia all'arrivo che alla partenza. Il nostro appartamento era spazioso, pulito e soprattutto in un punto strategico del centro che ci ha permesso di arrivare a piedi nei principali luoghi di interesse. Assolutamente da consigliare.
