This place was very essential to everything. It was a cute little cozy apartment. Unfortunately, there was only a flat sheet on the bed and another very thin sheet on top of that displays as advertised as a washer and dryer but doesn’t provide a dryer. No soaps, no coffee no extra options for anything.

Check in was fairly simple besides that the payment site couldn’t accept any US cards (confirmed it wasn’t any issue with any of the multiple cards we tried, it was an issue with the payment platform) so we had to go to an atm to get cash and pay a fee. The air conditioner wouldn’t work so it was really hot and we opened windows but then it spelt like smoke outside and we froze in the middle of the night. There were absolutely no blankets for the bed or couch. We requested one for the second night and were given a gross dirty blanket, only one. The touch had stains all over it and smelt terrible. The bed sheets didn’t seem very clean either. Location was the best part as it was close to where we wanted to go, but we definitely overpaid for what we got and the apartment wasn’t very nice overall.

Good points - location and decent air conditioning. Bad points- Communication is poor in that if you have a problem, you cannot do anything about it as email is the only form of contact and they do not respond to issues. The Wifi was not working for the whole visit and despite emailing the Behap through Hotels.com and directly, no one responded. I contacted Hotels.com and they tried contacting Behap without success. The apartment is centrally located and ideal for getting around the city. If communications could be improved (eg a telephone contact or just a response to emails) then I would consider staying here. However, as things stand I would not recommend Behap Madrid at all.

The property amenities listed in Hotel.com site was lie. The sofa bed was srained and had holes. We were unable to sit on it. Waher/dryer was not provided, it was only washer, no dryer. No tea/coffee maker that was listed. Only one thin pillow per person.No kithchen paper roll or wash clothes. No dish washing liquid. No staff at all while the list shows multilingual staff. Cigerette stubs on the floor.The spaces beteen the appliances were dirty. All pots were broken. The pans have scraches. Leaking toilet and water pipe. No luggage storage at all, while luggage storage is the reason we rented this one. Whole night drunke party accross the narrow alley is the reason we cold not sleep for 4 days. Zero security. A drunk guy passe out in front of my door. I texed ( phone were never picke up) all of the above over and over, but the management was indifferebt and did not responded. I f you want to be safe and enjoy your stay avoif this joint. Dont know why they charge more that $200 a day. Hotel.com should advice them to visist Pinar Aprtments at Malaga to have a crasg course on how to manage hospitality.

Great location with metro station, restaurants, pharmacy, theatres, shops, safe. Only problem is the club in front of hotel which works only Mondays, that night you cannot sleep.

Nice hotel...in Madrid downtown.
Is better if the hotel wil have a sign. For me wsd very difficult to find it...with no sign and a small door. Also...stairs are very small and dangerous. The apartament was perfect. Good size and electric appliances.

You have what you pay for.
Comfort was lower than expected. Expedia did not specify that access to the elevators implies to use the stairs up and down and this is difficult when you have even a medium size suitcase.

Room is excellent really enjoy the facitity however the street after 7pm there were lots of young men drinking & inappropriate clothing not good where we have children, other than that appartment is excellent, Will stay again only if we travel alone as adults
