This place was very essential to everything. It was a cute little cozy apartment. Unfortunately, there was only a flat sheet on the bed and another very thin sheet on top of that displays as advertised as a washer and dryer but doesn’t provide a dryer. No soaps, no coffee no extra options for anything.

Check in was fairly simple besides that the payment site couldn’t accept any US cards (confirmed it wasn’t any issue with any of the multiple cards we tried, it was an issue with the payment platform) so we had to go to an atm to get cash and pay a fee. The air conditioner wouldn’t work so it was really hot and we opened windows but then it spelt like smoke outside and we froze in the middle of the night. There were absolutely no blankets for the bed or couch. We requested one for the second night and were given a gross dirty blanket, only one. The touch had stains all over it and smelt terrible. The bed sheets didn’t seem very clean either. Location was the best part as it was close to where we wanted to go, but we definitely overpaid for what we got and the apartment wasn’t very nice overall.

Good points - location and decent air conditioning. Bad points- Communication is poor in that if you have a problem, you cannot do anything about it as email is the only form of contact and they do not respond to issues. The Wifi was not working for the whole visit and despite emailing the Behap through Hotels.com and directly, no one responded. I contacted Hotels.com and they tried contacting Behap without success. The apartment is centrally located and ideal for getting around the city. If communications could be improved (eg a telephone contact or just a response to emails) then I would consider staying here. However, as things stand I would not recommend Behap Madrid at all.

The property amenities listed in Hotel.com site was lie. The sofa bed was srained and had holes. We were unable to sit on it. Waher/dryer was not provided, it was only washer, no dryer. No tea/coffee maker that was listed. Only one thin pillow per person.No kithchen paper roll or wash clothes. No dish washing liquid. No staff at all while the list shows multilingual staff. Cigerette stubs on the floor.The spaces beteen the appliances were dirty. All pots were broken. The pans have scraches. Leaking toilet and water pipe. No luggage storage at all, while luggage storage is the reason we rented this one. Whole night drunke party accross the narrow alley is the reason we cold not sleep for 4 days. Zero security. A drunk guy passe out in front of my door. I texed ( phone were never picke up) all of the above over and over, but the management was indifferebt and did not responded. I f you want to be safe and enjoy your stay avoif this joint. Dont know why they charge more that $200 a day. Hotel.com should advice them to visist Pinar Aprtments at Malaga to have a crasg course on how to manage hospitality.

Great location with metro station, restaurants, pharmacy, theatres, shops, safe. Only problem is the club in front of hotel which works only Mondays, that night you cannot sleep.

Nice hotel...in Madrid downtown.
Is better if the hotel wil have a sign. For me wsd very difficult to find it...with no sign and a small door. Also...stairs are very small and dangerous. The apartament was perfect. Good size and electric appliances.

You have what you pay for.
Comfort was lower than expected. Expedia did not specify that access to the elevators implies to use the stairs up and down and this is difficult when you have even a medium size suitcase.

Room is excellent really enjoy the facitity however the street after 7pm there were lots of young men drinking & inappropriate clothing not good where we have children, other than that appartment is excellent, Will stay again only if we travel alone as adults

Comfortable on a budget
Close to business area, and bars, theatres, etc, however we were more wanting to go to the older part of the city. The street itself was a bit suss, and the hotel needs work on the lift/entrance area, however the room itself was very nice, and comfortable. We had enough kitchen facilities to make ourselves basic meals and had a large fridge.

Noisy Neighborhood
This hotel is next to the night club, it is Extremely Noisy!! People started singing, screaming from midnight till 6 am NON STOP!! It's very hard for the family to sleep!! If you are sensitive to noise, Do NOT pick this hotel. The room and location is very good, each room is very spacious and equipped with washer machine and kitchen.

Nice hotel close to everything
I had 2 nights and everything went right except for some construction noise during the day,the room the facilities all the staff the help of Abel to give us advice print out tickets, sugestions etc we had a problemwith a light, it was fixed next morning but the apartamento had restaurants, souvenir shops, attractions, theathers, metro, bus in walking distance a big plus and staff with great service willing to help you out always.

I hate to say but this hotel was extremely misleading as far as great reviews and stars go. The location was great but other then that, we were so disappointed. It was very uncomfortable and extremely loud. Noise traveled to a point that was unbelievable. Was woken up continuously by neighbors just walking up and down the stairs and talking in their room. There was also construction going on that was horrible and ruined any chance of rest. We should have been warned about that. The beds were not comfy at all and very sparse. I usually can sleep anywhere and am not picky but it was seriously to a point we considered getting a different place. Sad to say but the reviews are just very very inaccurate. The manager/owner was nice enough, but nothing could change me never wanting to return.

Could be a good hotel if they fix one thing...
This hotel was conveniently located and accommodated our family of 5, but had one problem. Upon entering the room we encountered a strong sewage smell. After opening the windows we cleared the odor and later figured out it was coming from the bathroom - perhaps from the drains. We kept the drains closed/covered and bathroom door closed, which made the rest of the room fine. If they fix that issue, the hotel would be good. I will say the hotel staff was helpful in finding parking for our car near the hotel at a reasonable rate. The hotel location was near the Metro and walking distance to the palace and great restaurants.

Great Hotel option close to metro
Great Hotel if you are travelling for a short period. Location is great, near Metro station. Room is a typical Spanish apartment, value for the money.

Back to Madrid after 40 years
The hotel has been renovated and it's clean but the room and the bathroom are really small. The towels are not very fluffy and the linens smell weird. There is no air conditioning and when you open the window it is very loud outside until the wee hours. However, it is located very close to the Gran Via and the Metro station.

Good location but too small a space
The small apartment was clean with minimalistic decor. The apartment is rented for 5 people but it should only be occupied by 4 at most. Three twin beds are crammed in the living room, they should be replaced by a sofa-bed, which would make the area look cozier and more inviting. We found other hotels in the area with either more space or more updated looks for the same price.

Great location near Gran Via and the Metro
It is fairly easy to get from the airport to the apartments via the Metro. Firstly you catch Line 8 from the terminal to the end of the line. From there you catch Line 10 and get off at Plaza de Espana and get on to Line 2 (Vodafone Line) to Santo Domingo. The trip costs 5€. It is a one minute walk from the station to the apartments. The apartments can initally be hard to find as the entrance is just a wooden door with a very small sign hanging above. They are located next to a Vietnamese restaurant. At first it all seems a bit strange - you have to buzz apartment 1A (the reception) to be let in and the reception itself is an empty apartment with a random desk in it. With the lack of signage and odd reception area I was starting to question my decision to stay there, however, once I was in the apartment these doubts vanished. It was very clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was very small but that is fairly common in Europe and I had no issues with it. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked amazingly (it was 35+ degrees during our stay so we definitely needed it)! The location is great. The small street the apartments are on joins up with Gran Via and the Royal Palace is a 5-10 minute walk away. There are some small supermarkets within a minute or two walk away as well as all the shops and restaurants on Gran Via. We didn't use any public transport while we explored the city, the location of the apartments meant we could easily walk!

Amazing! Great location and accommodations!
Amazing value! It was nice having this small apartment/hotel to stay in as we had already been travelling around Europe for over a week. It provided facilities for us to cook and do laundry. Excellent location - just off of the Grand Via which is the main street for restaurants and shopping. It was also a very short walking distance to many tourist sites like the Royal Palace, Sabbatini Gardens, and more. Staff was amazing - went above and beyond to ensure that my young daughter and I had a good stay in Madrid.

I am coming to believe that Hotels.com website has no good communications with the hotel that they help with booking rooms into. We were a group of 4 families. The hotel authorities did not have a room ready for one of the families. They only had 3 rooms ready. The stay was decent. The hotel staff did not speak a word of english which does not help at all when you land into a european city which is the capital of the country and has plenty of foreigners as travellers.

'Good Stay' ... the clue is in the name.
This apartment represents good value for money. Very clean and very secure apartment. Good quality mattress and quiet position meant a good night's sleep! Well positioned for Madrid venues, metro and local taxi rank at end of the street. Good supermarket at the other end of the street. No view from the small window but that is not what you are paying for with this apartment. Good facilities, though no kettle .. but there are other ways of boiling water for tea!

Perfect!
Perfect:)!!! A full 1 bedroom apartment with washer/dryer, full kitchen and full size fridge/freezer. Also it is 50 metres off Gran Via, so i was right in the heart of the city with shopping and food. A perfect stay!

Cheap prices with full kitchen.
The entrance of this place was hard to find and looked a bit sketchy. It looks just like a regular apartment and nothing about it seemed like a hotel. We got a lot more than we expected. In the room there are two beds. A double bed and a single. There is a microwave, oven, stove, fridge, and all the bowls plates, utensils are all there ready to be used. There's also a washing machine. The rooms are clean and very spacey. I was very comfortable and the staffs were very helpful. They gave me all the necessary information and went out of their way to help me with luggage.

The room was very clean and had basic kitch tools. Had a stove and microwave which made it easy to make food. There is also a grocery store right around the corner. The location is also very good, 5 min walk to the main attraction. The only downside to the apartment was that the bathroom was quite cramped and small, but it is still well worth the price

Very happy with the quality of this establishment. Easy enough to find. Spacious rooms for the price and extremely well presented. Kitchen facilities good tho the hob took a bit of working out. Didn't use the washing machine but a nice touch it was there. Toilet & shower facilities very acceptable. Would use 'Good stay Madrid' again!

Reasonable rate at the excellent location
The apartment is at the downtown of Madrid near the Plaza de Espana. There are many shops and restaurants near this apartment. Also, this apartment is very close to the subway station. You can go around Madrid very easy. For the apartment itself, rooms are clean and facilities are much like the other hotel rooms. Hotel manager is very helpful. However, the staff is only available between 10:00am and 10:00pm. It seems like the hotel is newly renovated when I visit in May 2014. Some rooms had the smell of the paints. Also, some light fixture did not have light bulbs. However, those are minor details and they could be fixed easily. Overall, this apartment is well worth for the money you paid.

Abbiamo prenotato una stanza per tre persone il divano letto avrebbe dovuto essere ‘Queen’ ovvero cm1,60 x 2,00, peccato che le misure non fossero così, letto molto più piccolo, non un divano letto ma una piazza sulla quale dormire. Il divano presentava dei buchi e la stoffa completamente ricoperta di macchie che preferisco non specificare, tutto visibile dalle fotografie che allegherò! Tapparella dove c’era il divano non funzionante, non è stato possibile quindi riposare senza avere luce, presente Solo una tenda trasparente. Sporco ovunque e stanza rumorosa. Da evitare assolutamente! Averlo saputo avrei dormito al parco del Retiro, sicuramente più comodo e pulito!!!!

La ubicación es muy céntrica, la limpieza bastante normal, había polvo en la mesilla de noche, sábanas y toallas manchadas. Para contactar con ellos, tienen un teléfono con un horario, llamé unas 10 veces y no te devuelven la llamada. Positivo: nos dieron las llaves del apartamento sobre las 11:30 en lugar de las 15h y pudimos dejar el equipaje.

Estuvimos en el apartamento 2 noches, todo bien hasta la mañana de la salida; estaba bastante limpio (no limpieza a fondo pero aceptable, menos el colchón del sofa-cama, necesita ser cambiado), toallas, sabanas, gel de ducha y mano proporcionados La mañana de la salida nos encontramos 2 cucarachas ENORMES en el piso, ni idea de donde podían salir pero ahí escondidas tenían que haber estado, una cerca de la puerta de entrada y una en la de la habitación, había leído que ya había pasado pero esperaba en no encontrarlas En general un 6/10
