The people at the reception were not so welcoming, the hostal is expensive for what they offer, but the location is key to move around Madrid, the elevator holds 3 people only and takes forever, so if you are in the 4th floor be patient

El hotel queda en una buena localidad. Justo a un bloque de gran vía donde se puede caminar a cualquier parte de Madrid. El hotel está bonito. El staff muy amable. Volveremos para la próxima y lo recomiendo también.

Perfectly fine hotel for a short break. Small rooms but clean, safe is available. Bathroom well appointed for price. Location is good, Gran via is is a minutes walk away, and other attractions are walkable should you so desire. The downside is that the local area is lively at all times including early in the morning.

GREAT HOSTEL FOR LOCATION AND COMFORT IN MADRID
THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND THE LOCATION ITS A MUST NEAR GRAN VIA AND THE IN THE GEART OF CHUECA TOWN. THE ROOM KEY YOU HAVE TO LEFT IT IN THE COUNTER EVERY TIME YOU GOU OUT AND BACK WAS A LITTLE WEIRD. THE ROOM I BOOKED WAS NOT THE SAME AS SHOWN IN THE APP.

Central city, older style hotel with some renovations to small room, nice helpful staff, safe just sitting on cupboard ( not bolted) no fridge but otherwise fine.

The property is well located, walkable to all majir attractions in Madrid. The room is OK, nice big bathroom but no divider so the water is all over the place. The staff is not the most friendly. Overall because it’s clean and close to everything, i would stay here again.

It was a great hotel for the price and great location as well! The breakfast was not the best but affordable, and the echo thru the hall was a little excessive at night time. Will definitely stay there again if i were to come back

Terrible, unprofessional staff. Especially the night and day front desk staff. They will harass you and chase you to your room if you bring guests over, even if it’s for five minutes. These two gentleman have always been rude and impolite. They never show a smile or pleasant welcome. Also, their breakfast service is awful. It’s a little abandoned corner with limited food options. They wont even let you refill a cup of coffee. Not worth it! Several of their rooms are also not remolded and their elevator is as old as the Queen’s jewels. The only reason I stay at this hotel is because it is walking distance to all the major nightclubs.

Es un hostal con personalidad,limpieza, y muy buen servicio al cliente. La locación es fenomenal, muy cerca a todo. Pero las 3 razones por las que no me quedaría de nuevo son : 1-está localizado encima de un bar por lo que el escándalo de las personas son hasta las 3am-4am. Normalmente para mi el ruido nunca a sido un problema para dormir, pero esto fue inaguantable. No puedes descansar 2-Los containers de la basura Esta justo en la entrada del hostal. El mal olor es muy fuerte. También el escándalo que hacen a las 3-4am cuando botan cajas las botellas de cristal en el container metálico. 3- La cama estaba muy dura. Dormímos prácticamente encima de los resortes. Y ni hablar de los dolores en el cuerpo.

Clean hotel room with very nice staff
Rooms are very small but functional. If you stay at the back side of the hotel, it's very quiet. I don't have any noise issue at all. You do hear people walking or talking in the hallway but nothing too disturbing. The best part of the hotel is the staff. They are very nice and willing to help. I don't mind to drop off the key at front desk, it actually gives me a chance to talk to them and ask them questions. Location is really good. Supermarket is a block away. Many bars and restaurant in area. 2 blocks from shopping street and Metro.

I had been here before a few years ago and was happy enough to return. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous, and patient with us as American's. It is a smaller hotel, very European- which is what we wanted to experience. Very easy walk from the bus stop (Plaza de Cibeles) to/from airport as well as very close to the Metro -Via Grand Metro. We had a twin superior room which has been upgraded to the photos you see on the site. The twin standard room are subpar and I can not wait for the hotel to share they have upgraded all of their rooms.

Hotel make you feel you in prison. Have to leave the keys at the front desk everytime you go out. you can hear people showering from the other room and snoring. Staff are not as nice. Sometimes i was afraid to ask questions. Tv is looks smaller then a laptop screen. The hotel is only good for one night.
