The staff were friendly but the hotel itself was rough. The doors in the hotel are hard to open and close, the key to open the hotel room was hard to lock and open, and there were mosquitos and ants. Also it stated laundry service which was the main reason of me booking this hotel but when i asked, i was told there wasn't any laundry service onsite. Very thin walls. I could hear the folks next door having intercourse all night that i could not gain any rest. I had to check out early the next day to book a different hotel elsewhere.

Property very old. Phone did not work. Heat did not work. Phone listed on wxpidia is incorrect. Front desk too far away so had to drive back to inform the desk of heat issues in the room. Would not stay in this hotwl even for free.

Need modernisation
Customer service was good overall except the grumpy receptionist that needs to retire and let Miguel or Hector take over. the 2nd room was clean and spacious. First room had a faulty door. They finally changed the room on my third day of stay after a long négociation (grumpy receptionist) . Public transport is scarce. Only 1 bus in the area and never on time. The bar, breakfast and restaurant not bad.

The location was great...it was just ten to fifteen minutes away from downtown Madrid with easy freeway access. Parking was included, which was greatly helpful. There were also great shopping centers five minutes away and the hotel grounds were very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Decent motel. The room was very large and nice terrace area. Only complaint is that bedsheets stank of cigaret smoke and the room was slightly cold - could feel the chill from outside coming through the doors. A petrol station next to the motel with a mini supermarket. And only about 30 -40 min drive into central Madrid during rush hour.

It is very quiet. It is friendly although most of the staff don't speak English. They mention swimming pool on the site but they don't seem to have one.

Getafe? Get out!
Los Olives is a motel at best. Somewhat run down and stuck away from shops or restaurants. The town, Getafe, is a bit of a dump and the only reason for us to stay at the hotel was it was on the way North from Spain. To be fair the staff were helpful and pleasant, so no complaints there. But the rooms we were offered stunk of cigarettes, although we eventually got one that was relatively untainted. The breakfast consisted of the cheapest ingredients so inedible cheese and ham and tasteless jams. Never again if we can help it.

The property was clean but very outdated. The bed was uncomfortable and the room very noisy.it was hard to sleep. We booked and paid for it 6 month ago, I asked for non smoking room and first floor, non was granted. In one of the rooms the cigarette smell was overwhelming, but they said the hotel was full and cannot change it. Stay in the center of Madrid.

Much Needed Place to Unwind.
We booked this hotel as a stopover on the way to southern Spain, driving from the Dordogne region of France. Our journey was scheduled to last 7.5 hours, but due to traffic problems it became over ten hours. We were so glad to finally locate this hotel. It is in the middle of a huge industrial estate on the southern outskirts of Madrid, in the middle of a road layout that makes Spaghetti Junction look like child's play. However, once signed in, we found an oasis of calm, with spacious rooms arranged around a wooded swimming pool area. We arrived at 7:00pm and were in the pool by ten past, the perfect way to unwind after a long car journey. A great value menu in the restaurant and a delicious buffet breakfast meant we could really relax and unwind before hitting the road again.

Good stopover between France and Southern Spain
This is a great hotel and we always enjoy our stay here. Very handy for stop off on journey from France to Southern Spain. Room are big and clean with good outdoor space but a little tired in places. The restaurant is lovely and the staff friendly. Please be careful when booking as I inadvertently booked a double room for 1 instead of 2 and was charged an extra 20 Euro at check in for the second person eve though we weren't getting anything different. Also there are no tea making facilities so if you like a cuppa first thing take your own.

Love this hotel.
Love this hotel even though it is a pain to find. We had been before but still missed the entrance and had to make a huge detour to get back to the car park. A big sign opposite is required. Apart from that the rooms are huge and clean with good outside areas to walk our dogs. The restaurant is lovely and very accommodating. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Can't fault it. Will be staying again on our return trip. Just hope we get the entrance first attempt this time around.

This hotel was far away form all the tourist sites. You have to take a combination of different public transportation to get there. The room smelled bad and was outdated. The staff was rude and not helpful. Overall not a good experience and I would stay away from this place.

Terrific hotel!
This hotel has been fabulous! We stayed here a week with our dog Alfred. Great value for money, superb staff who were keen to help with anything, good sized room with big bathroom and a great restaurant providing excellent food.

Not convenient if you do not rent a car. Need to take taxi to Metro or Cercanias to visit the tourist attractions that Madrid offers. Website is deceiving; it has information for driving, not for using public transportation.

Where to begin...where to begin!?! OK...rock hard beds, near-non-existent furnishings (and those that do exist, made out of cardboard in 1820), green water in pool, wasp-infested breakfast patio, and a location that could only be worse if it were in a tuna cannery! In a word: DUMP!

Absolute gem
What an amazing find. Bit difficult to find, turn right immediately before the poligono industriale sign or you'll have a big detour to get back to the entrance, but when we got there it was fantastic. The room was spacious with a sitting out area overlooking the pool. The bed and bathroom were huge and comfortable with a table and chairs inside and out. Air conditioning and wifi included. The restaurant was excellent with good food and service for a reasonable price. Will definitely be coming here again on our journey to Andalucia.

Decent stay
Hotel was basic but clean and I would stay here again. Air con worked well in July and 100 degree heat. Rooms are dated but have everything you need. Wifi is a little sketchy. The restaurant Mon-Fri offers a fabulous 3 course €10 menu. All in all a good stay, nothing spectacular but good & honest.

Convenient and next to main road.
Convenient for a one night stop over on our journey from Bilbao to Marbella. Located on an industrial estate this hotel was an old Army barracks which has been turned into a hotel The rooms are large and clean but the grounds leave a bit to be desired and it was quite a walk from our room in block 6 to the restaurant. The food was not really up to much but then we were very tired. There is undercover parking right outside your door .

Unusual hotel
This hotel would probably be great on the summer as it had direct outdoor access. The hotel is set in large grounds with 5 blocks of rooms in the grounds. The challenge is that this is away from the reception and bar and restaurant building. We were there in March during heavy rain so we got wet going to the bar. The hotel allows dogs but not in the bar or restaurant. This resulted in us sitting in the cold as the dog was only allowed outside. When we left on a Saturday morning we didn’t have breakfast as the restaurant was not open at 8;30.

The hotel is located in the commercial area.
Located and isolated in a commercial area where is no human faces seen around. Away from vibrant center. The rooms are in aseparate buidling from the service buidling ( reception,kitchen and cleaning staff) Although feel good space to move but no close shops within walking distance. I recommend for people coming in singularity to finish quick business.

Quick sleep over.
Comfortable and spacious room with an easy access from E5 highway. The only thing that attracted my attention in a negative way were the towels that were clean but no longer white (worn out).

Overall a pleasant experience. Needed a car for transportation to train station. About 15 minute train ride to Central Madrid.
