Comfy beds
The staff were very nice, the bar food was good and the Metro was conveniently nearby. The bed was the most comfortable of the 7 hotels we stayed at. My only concern is in a country that is experiencing drought, the shower/faucet water pressure should be decreased so less water is wasted.

Rooms are very old fashioned and tired and need up dating, Restaurant was closed on both days for functions so no food available during our stay at the hotel! when we got food in from outside the management staff complained to us!!

Perfect for IFEMA
Nice place, perfectly located for IFEMA. Breakfast was good, the room was clean and quite spacious. The mini bar was missing but not a big deal.

Overall experience was good with this Hotel. There are restaurants nearby the hotel but most of the staff does not speak English and we had a very hard time communicating what we would like to order.

Staff is friendly, breakfast is good, clean room, the room is simply worn and does not represent the status as pictured (curtain partially ripped of rail, wall paper folding off wall, wall marks everywhere, carpet stains, however - rave concert in neighborhood is loud enough to disrupt conversations in the room at times and runs till 2:30 am! No hotel should sell rooms under these conditions! No sleep to be had that night.

The hotel needs a major upgrade the rooms are very old didn’t enjoy my stay. The staff was nice but the condition of the rooms are old .

Be vigilant. I was stolen things from my luggage. It’s definitely the housekeeper as no one else is supposed to enter the room. I was in room 437 from 19 to 21 of May 2023. I’ll never return to this hotel again or recommend it to someone.

We stayed at the hotel on our last night in Madrid because it was close to the airport. When we checked in we noticed the AC was not working. I let the front desk know it was not working and they said they would send someone. Three hours later no one came. I went down to say something again and I asked them to send someone because no one came and the new clerk told me she would call someone but to just turn it off and on and then went back to ignoring me. After I stood there she acknowledged me again and I explained that is not the problem and that someone needs to come because I will not have my 3 month old and 4 year old in that room and she called the tech but said It just needs to be turned off and on and she was very rude. Then I went upstairs we did what she asked and it still did not work. 10 minutes later the tech came by and said it was broken and fixed it for us. She never apologized or asked if everything was fixed when she saw me later. We did not enjoy that experience at all. When a guest says something is not working the clerks should look into this right away and not write it off as if we do not know what we are talking about.

Convenient hotel next to convention center
All around good hotel next to convention center. Lots of free parking around, hotel offers paid parking but for some reason they have berry odd electric car chargers that do not work well with electric cars. Great bar with good selection and service.

Hotel was very nice. Beds were super comfortable. Different floors had different decor, which was a bit strange, but our biggest complaint was lack of tea/coffee service in the room.

Exterior: pleasing and modern. I appreciated the decor in the lobby. But once you step out of the elevator, you’re greeted with a glaring shade of red and dark, disorienting lighting. We arrived at 5pm but our room wasn’t even ready so we had to wait. Despite requesting a non-smoking room, we were displeased to discover a very strong scent of tobacco the moment we stepped through the door. Within the room we were greeted with old faded 1960s decor, an old TV with 12 channels (half of them in German) and no cable, no tea or coffeemaker, and a lamp that was splattered with yellow wax (we hope it was wax!) that stuck to our fingers as we tried to turn it on. The nearest restaurant (McDonald’s) was a 15 minute walk away across a busy highway intersection in 98degF Madrid heat. The only pros of this experience were good bathroom amenities (with the exception of an ancient, 1980s hairdryer), comfortable beds, and functional air conditioning. And also the 1 big pro was its nearness to the airport.

AC didn’t work. Staff moved our room for the second night of a 2 night stay. They couldn’t help us the first night so I had to sleep in my own sweat. They offered nothing for our issues except to pay for a taxi to the airport after we had told them we were taking the metro. Wouldn’t stay again for sure.

Bad experience with Pullman Madrid Hotel.
I could only rate as TERRIBLE my experience with this hotel as exactly on the 10th January 2022 I received the result of a PCR test (in the evening) showing I was Positive with Covid19 (I sent a copy of the hospital test result),immediately on following morning I tried cancel my paid reservation and contacted Hotels.com asking for a refund, but even when I managed to access a representative from Hotels.com and was promised heir manager was going to talk directly with the Hotel Pullman to allow the refund. Unfortunately I got no reply and so I am very unhappy. Which make feel insecure to use Hotels. com on my next trips to San Antonio TX (FEB) and Miami (End of March). with others to Dublin, bergen Norway, Las Vegas, Dublin, all are my next conference schedule.

Great for an overnight Barajas layover!
Had a 10 hour overnight layover. The gitel ia about 100 yds away from the Metro line. So it's super easy to get to/fr the airport. Clean, comfortable and a good selection of channels. Highly recommended!
