Hard Rock Hotel Madrid
6/10 Okay
"We came to Madrid for a milestone birthday. We had isueswith room. No upgrade. The staff tried to sell upgrade to suite for $400 per night. If I booked with Expedia it would have been $100 extra per night. The staff try to do what they can, they were pleasant. I had no issues with staff. The room is configured wierd, the sink is in the room and not close to the bathroom. You have to walk across the room to wash your hands. The walls are so thin I can hear loud snoring in the next door room. We asked to be moved, I did not have sleep at all. They did move us to a higher floor which was better. The hotel was okay, after our experience at Hard Rock Maldives I wanted to frequent Hard Rock. I was disappointed with this hotel. There are good things. The size of the room is good. It was clean. They gave me a cake on my birthday. The staff were helpful, we asked for robes and slippers and they did provide. I was disappointed with room service. My husband called intermittently for 30 min and no answer. He called front desk they stated theywill call back, no call back. 15 min later my husband calls them back, after 5 minutes room service calls back, apologizes states that the music was so loud they did not hear the phone. The food was not good. The breakfast was good. You can order omelettes etc made to order. The location is very close to train station. Uber is available. Walking distance to Reina Sofia and Prado. I want to thank the staff that helped us move rooms."

"The hotel itself was nice. However, there were two things that ruined our stay. We arrived at 7pm in hopes of going for a swim and the pool was already closed. And the other main reason we picked this hotel was because it had a free shuttle to the airport. EXCEPT for at 10am, when we needed to go. We were forced to take the earlier shuttle and wait at the airport for an extra 1.5 hours. This, and a very rude waiter at dinner, ruined our stay."

"The room was big and comfortable for three adults, so the bathroom is big too. We liked the breakfast, it is so complete. It is near the airport and has airport transportation. The only thing we did not liked was the air conditioning, was not cold and we had to open a window. We stayed only one night so I did not mentioned."

"Buena opción para una corta parada entre conexiones, tienen un shuttle gratuito cuando reservas con ellos directamente y con un costo de 5 euros cuando es por otros canales desde el hotel, gratis desde el aeropuerto. Revisa los horarios en su pagina, puesto que tiene horarios específicos. El staff es amable y colaborador."

ibis Styles Madrid Airport Valdebebas

"Clean room. Too much light in the night as there are a couple of blue lights that are on all the time. Shuttle bus has the seats so close to each other that a standard size legs person has difficulty feeting them behind the seat k the front. All does not allow to collect points when booking outside their app. Other hotel chains like IHG, Marriott, etc do allow to collect points, so I try to avoid All hotels as much as possible."

"Clean hotel with great WiFi! It’s about a $30-ish Euro ride to Madrid Center. Quiet neighborhood, great restaurants. Family friendly, work friendly, great staff"
