Excellent location!! Apartment was spotless!!Housekeeper Ana was amazing! Property is showing signs of age. You may need to plan on replacing the flooring, baseboards some caulk and paint at a minimum in the near future.

Excellent

The location was excellent, and we loved the sun terrace where music drifted up from the square each morning. Bed and sofa both exceptionally comfortable. Shower is powerful and owner was very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great location to explore Madrid

We had a great time exploring Madrid. So close to many things and close to Metro. We enjoyed the terrace and Anna did a great job in helping us check in.

Excellent stay. Everything was great and very safe. Nothing compares to having a set of keys to the property with two doors and double locks on both. Location outstanding. Cleanliness was great. Check in process excellent. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

Great spot, great people

Very clean! Located within walking distance of the metro and the Puerta del Sol. Ana was our on-site point of contact and was a joy to interact with. The bed was comfortable and the living space comfortably accommodated our family of 2. It was our first time visiting Madrid and we felt that we picked an ideal spot to stay.

Amazing Location in Madrid

Honestly I don't think you could pick a better location to stay in Madrid. This penthouse apartment is a block from the Sol Metro station, right in the middle of town. With that said, it is also nestled up on the 5th floor where there is little to no noise at night which is rare for a city that is known for celebrating into the night. I would stay here again and again.

Loved our stay here but smaller than expected.

Great check-in experience, great location, truly. Same neighborhood as the Four Seasons. Had a wonderful time and slept well. Anna the building manager was kind and helpful. Only issue with the apartment was the size. Also the bathroom is steps away from the bed.

Great place in a great location

We loved staying here. The location was amazing, easy to get everywhere. Great restaurants nearby. Really close to Sol station. Lived having the patio area to sit out on as the temperature was in the 30s. We had a great time. We would definitely recomned.

Perfect Little Apartment

Great location and well equipped apartment with terrace

The apartment is very nice and quiet. You’ll find everything there, water kettle, mugs, plates etc. The terrace is a very nice bonus for chilling out after sightseeing. The location is excellent, you can walk around or take a metro from Sol, and there’re lots of taxis in plaza de Canalejas nearby.

Central Madrid Marvel

This place was wonderful to stay at. Located just steps away from Sol Square, it's right in the heart of Madrid. Clean, bright and fully stocked with everything you need. Close to restaurants, close to the subway and within walking distance to historic sites and museums and galleries. We were not at all disappointed with our decision to stay here.

Very clean and the location with the terrace is perfect

The apartment is very clean, quiet and nice in the heart of the city. All the necessities are provided (linen, toilet paper, soaps etc). Downstairs you have a tobacco kiosk where you can buy water, refreshments and even last minute souvenirs almost all day around 😄

Location , location , location.

The apartment is rigth in the middel of everyting you want to see in Madrid , and it is within walkingdistance to most of the sigths. Even if it lies in the viberent Sol district , its quiet at nigth . Its well equipped , and perfect for a short or long stay in the beautiful city Madrid. I loved my 3 nigths in this apartment, and will recomend it to everyone . The only thing I wish was different is the patio , witch is in need of some upgrade , but it is lovely to sit out there .

Best equipped VRBO

Communication with the host was excellent. The apartment is the best equipped VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Everything that a client might need was there from a sewing kit to a shoe horn. The apartment is well situated to walk everywhere. It is on the 5th floor and considering that it is in a busy area, it was very quiet. There is good security. The front desk concierge is very friendly.

Fantastic

Great apartment small but perfectly formed with everything you needed. Very comfortable beds and pillows (which is a rarity) The terrace is fantastic, so good to have a good bit of outside space in the hot weather. Was a lovely spot to wake up or wind down after a busy day wandering the city. I'll be very surprised if we don't return again ! The lady on reception was great very friendly and helpful

Great stay

We had a great stay here, property as described in a great location. The sofa bed isn’t very comfy, but it’s ok for the kids. The communication was difficult getting the keys as the building manager doesn't speak English, but we managed fine. I’d messaged but didn’t get an answer. However, we definitely stay again if in Madrid.

An excellent location for exploring Madrid!

The apartment is very central, minutes on foot to Puerta del Sol. It was very well equipped with supplies such as toilet rolls, extra towels, etc. (Bathrobes were a nice touch!) My only slight negative observation would be that the terrace was looking a bit tired. The dining chairs and sofa cushions were very frayed, and the sun- loungers in the photo weren't there. That probably won't be an issue if you are out and about in Madrid all the time!

Disappointing

The Good Location - close to everything near Puerta del Sol. Excellent shower water pressure. The Bad Unit not as advertised. Not a penthouse apartment but rather a dark studio with a moveable partial room divider separating the bed from the rest of the unit. Entrance to the building is set back, dark and is a gathering place for smokers. Smart TV not connected to the modem, we had to set it up ourselves - should be set up prior to arrival of paying guests. Studio's local contact person provided no instructions other than pointing to the TV, bathroom, and wall control for the heating/air conditioning, most unusual behaviour for a contact person. Host often took days to respond to our questions. Sofa bed has seen better days, was well worn offering little support. Some lamps did not work. Coffee machine was dirty and did not work. Since there is no dishwasher, a plug for the kitchen sink would have been useful. The Hilarious A wand for watering plants, fixed to a wall of the patio, is described as an outdoor shower, really! Overall A disappointment as the VRBO pictures and the written description promised a quality environment. Poor value for money!

Amazing location, almost exactly as in pictures (just missing a couple of deck cushions), and a super comfortable stay for a family of 4. It was equipped with all the amenities so we could cook a few meals, and we loved the AC in the middle of the heat wave. The deck was our favourite spot for morning coffee and a glass of wine in the early evening as you could hear the street musicians. The host was responsive about check in and graciously arranged for us to drop our bags off early. We would definitely stay again!
