Waou Art Loft La Latina

When you walk through the door of this accommodation, nothing will leave you indifferent at all, mainly because of the care, taste and quality that have been deposited in its recent renovation. A renovation where we always thought of our future guests to make our apartment a space where our guests could enjoy not only our wonderful city but also to stay at home and, therefore, make them have an unforgettable experience.



For this reason, the heart of the apartment has been arranged in a large loft, on the top floor, where the hall, dining room, kitchen and living room are all in the same space. In this way, privacy is kept for the bedrooms: two upstairs with a double bed each and a third with two single beds downstairs, a typical Madrid vaulted basement from the 19th century of such an indescribable charm. The house is completed with two fully equipped bathrooms, one on the upper floor -which is accessed both from the common area and from one of the bedrooms- and another en suite on the ground floor.



Regarding the location, the apartment is located in the heart of La Latina, next to all the "traditional" points of great interest (tourist and leisure). However, it is located in one of the quietest streets in the neighborhood where the calm is absolute.

Perfect location!

Clean and cool decor home that’s within few feet to best area of Madrid! Seriously, this place puts you in the heart of tapas, all the plazas, etc! Check in was little confusing as email from VRBO stated the unit was L, but it was i, but wonderful once arrived! Thank u for a great stay!

Great Location!

We spent 4 days in Madrid and walked around the whole city! We LOVED the location of this rental. Very close to many destinations, but in a very clean and save neighborhood. In addition, it is spacious, clean, and stylish. Would love to come back!

Better than expected!

This VRBO was one of the best we've ever stayed in. Could have stayed there for a month! Home was beautifully decorated. I would call it updated rustic. Everything we needed was there. Location couldn't have been better. Staying in this area was just what we wanted. Street was fairly quiet, especially given it's location close to so many tapa bars and restaurants. Definitely would stay again and am keeping this place on my list of places to stay!

A Cool Apartment in a Vibrant Neighborhood

We really enjoyed our weekend in this unique, well equipped VRBO. It’s located on the street level of a vibrant, busy neighborhood with lots of cafes and bars nearby, and has a hip but also cozy feel with exposed brick walls. We also appreciated having a washer dryer in the unit, too.

Great location, unique property

We really enjoyed our stay at this unique home. Two levels of living gave us (two adults, three teens) plenty of space. We walked all around Madrid, plus there was a train option just a block away. Spain was in a heat wave while we were there; the air-conditioning in the home was a welcome respite. Having laundry was an added bonus. I'd definitely stay in this property again.

Just Quiet Enough

What a great property! It’s on a quiet street (though the neighbors were noisy enough one night to get called for a complaint, and the owner thought it was us) that is literally no more than a block or two away from lots of lively action! The big Market is a short walk, lots of restaurants, shops and groceries all nearby! The property itself was so unique and hip and was the highlite of our trip! We appreciated it being well stocked in the kitchen so we were able to have breakfast there daily. This is a property I’d definitely recommend!

Unique Madrid rental

This is rental is truly unique. It felt clean and the kitchen and dining area was great and open to use as a family. The location is close to major sites like the Palace and lots of food and grocery stores. The only complaint was the basement bathroom had a very strong musty smell to it. We kept the door closed and it didn’t affect the rest of the room and the other bathroom was fine. There is off and on street noise but it is to be expected in these old buildings. Overall great stay, kids loved it and we would definitely come back.

La Latina is a winner

Everything about this condo is amazing: location, layout, amenities. The only problem was trying to communicate with the Host. Messages from the Host were sent through VRBO and could not be opened. The Host uses BNB Holder (Madrid). However, once we had the host's email address and phone number, all went smoothly. Book this unit and you will not be disappointed.

Perfect stay in a great neighborhood

We had a perfect stay in this apartment as 3 adults and 3 children. The check in process was easy, the owner was easy to reach, and the location was just perfect. It was our first stay in Madrid so I was a little nervous about picking the right neighborhood and what the place would look like upon arrival, but I was relieved to see this gorgeous place was ours for a few days and with easy walking access to such great highlights of the city, and a short walk to the bus stop to go a bit further to Retiro Park and Prado. I saw some reviews mention noise but we didn't have a problem with it at all, from neighbors or nearby bars/restaurants. Just my own kids :) I'd definitely recommend this apartment to groups, families, or anyone looking for a clean, updated, and well located place in Madrid.

Unique place, great location

This space was really cool and unique. The location was perfect for getting around. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. A starter set of coffee and spices would be helpful. We were not bothered by any noise, but we did not stay on a weekend. Maybe it's noisier then? Communication and check in was a little confusing. The instructions mentioned a keypad but there was no keypad. Access was through an app, so make sure you have service. It would have been helpful if my questions were answered a little more quickly. Overall we would stay again as the location and the space itself are perfect.

Great location & Clean, Can be loud,

The property was clean & in an awesome location - close to a ton of things. The downfall would be how loud it can be. Because it’s right on the ground level, in two of the rooms you hear everything happening on the street. I sleep with a sound machine so this was ok for me but not for my friend. The back room shares a wall with an apartment and the people in that apartment are VERY loud (or the wall is paper thin). My parents had to leave to go to a hotel because the room was so loud in night 1. The host was also incredibly slow to respond once we were checked in. Otherwise, the space is big, clean and in a great location!

Convenient Apartment

The apartment has 3 bedrooms with plenty of space to sleep 5-6 people. It was in a great location for walking to major attractions and even the train station was only a little over a mile away and walkable. I was disappointed that the apartment seemed as though no one had been inside it for a while. It was a bit musty and not as clean as advertised. Some of the ceilings are brick and as such, debris had fallen all around the apartment, making it seem unclean. The kids also noticed some gnats in the basement bathroom. Paper towels, liquid dish soap, and tissues were not supplied, but they did provide hand soap and shampoo in the bathrooms. WiFi worked well. Overall, we were out and about enough that we still had a positive stay.

The loft was perfect for our extended family of 6. The property was very clean and exactly as described/pictured. The lower level bed/bath was a really neat space as well. My mother, brother, and I stayed. The location was perfect. We were within walking distance to mostly everything we wanted to do. Everything logistically was smooth because of the great instructions. I was worried about the digital keys given some of the reviews, but they were no problems at all. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. There was a noticeable smell in the basement bathroom, but I chalk it up to Madrid being an old city with old pipes. Just close the door and it’s fine. I would definitely stay here again!

Pros: location was perfect, rental was clean, beds were comfortable, looks even better than the photos, communication was prompt and helpful. Cons: could use some extra linens (extra pillows, towels, blanket or two), and the small couch is the most uncomfortable thing to sit on ever Overall I would highly recommend staying here! We loved our time here.
