Right in the heart of Madrid

The apartment is exactly as described. The location is convenient to most sights which are walkable distances. The neighborhood is lively with bars and restaurants. A little too lively for us as the noise went into the wee hours but it was friendly. We had issues with the online portal for opening the doors and with the wifi but these were addressed quickly. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed.

Great location!

We had a fabulous week at this cozy apartment. It is on quite a bust pedestrian only street, full of restaurants and nightlife. But you really don’t hear the noise inside! It’s within 20 minutes walking distance of everywhere in the city! Good water pressure and we made use of the washing machine. Minor issues such as questionable old staircase were easily overlooked. The host was very responsive. My only concerns were that we didn’t receive check in instructions until the night before our trip, causing a little stress and the Bluetooth enabled door sometimes took a few tries to open. Overall a fabulous experience and I would recommend to friends needing sleeping arrangements for 3.

Madrid Centro Puerta del Sol

Three of us stayed 4 days at this property. It’s located at the intersection of two pedestrian only streets with numerous good places to eat and drink. Short distance to larger streets and plazas and good shopping if that’s your thing. The property worked well for us and was clean. It is an older building and it has a little wear visible in places that do not matter, but it has been redone and is in good shape. One reason we rented this place was because it stated it has balconies. It is more like full length windows with a rail across them because there is no way to go outside on an actual balcony. You were able to stand there and do some people watching and the windows allowed for good air flow as e had cooler mornings and nights.

Good location

The apartment was clean, in a good location located on a pedestrian-only little street with a lot of options for dining. Easy access to many museums, shopping, public transportation and restaurants. There were some glitches like the power going out and, with instructions from from the hosting company, my husband had to climb on a chair to flip the breaker back on. It wasn’t clear how to turn on the a/c, and they had to drop off a toaster, which they did. Bare minimum of kitchen essentials, but the bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well.

No lo recomiendo las escaleras peligrosas y oscuras el lugar deprimente. El Sr Manzanero nunca se presentó. Fue de muy poca ayuda. Tuvimos que rentar un hotel para quedarnos, porque ahí fue imposible quedarnos. Las fotos no se puede apreciar lo que realidad es. No se cómo una compañía como Vrbo respalda un local así.
