"We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. Coffee machine worked well and the options for coffee were fantastic. Plenty of parking near hotel, and a nice village and great beach in walking distance were of course what we came for. I wish we stayed even longer. "

"We had the most amazing stay from start to finish. We got there after midnight due to flight times, but were offered a guide to get us there or clear directions with a code for a key box. When we got there, the property had outside lights to guide us in and a fridge with a home cooked meal in, snacks, wine, olive oil and fruit. :-). So welcoming. The next day when we woke up we realised how beautiful the villa was and the views are just stunning. There is a twisty mountain road to get up to the villa but it’s very quiet. You’ll see more goats than cars. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and all is well. The pool was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, the showers wonderful and it was very well equipped. The villa is within half an hour of Rethymno which is delightful. We were also within an easy drive of Knossos, Chania, Heraklion and Lake Kournas. One day however, we just stayed home and enjoyed the relaxation of the villa. :-)As we had a super late flight home and as no one was due to arrive the day we left, our hosts kindly agreed that we could stay way beyond the check out time and enjoy our last day without rushing. We stayed until 4pm and we are so appreciative of the kindness. We even received a parting gift. I cannot recommend Harkia Villas enough. Simply stunning. X. "

"Excellent hotel in Bali, Crete. Its on the best beach in Bali, Crete. The breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice, great a la carte food , frendlly and helpful staff. Hotel , pool and rooms are spacious and beautifully designed. Right on the best beach in Bali . "

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. We were greeted with a thoughtful gift basket and a delicious evening meal, which was such a lovely touch to kick off our stay. "What a stunning property - much bigger than we were anticipating -we had a fantastic stay. Rooms are huge, beds really comfortable. Pool and pool area is clean and well kitted out for loungers and umbrellas. Kitchen has everything you might need. Outside is a huge marble table with barbecue and pizza oven. Maid cleans twice a week - we had a couple of problems (a shower head and a light bulb) both problems where dealt with quickly by the owner. The owners are so helpful and super friendly - we had a huge welcome pack which was really appreciated after our late evening arrival - owners came to meet us an showed us around the property - nothing was too much trouble. Small shop in village great for bits. Lovely friendly restaurant with good food."

"Great villa in a village with good amenities. The pool is nice with a fabulous view, and there are numerous spaces to relax and eat around the villa at different times of the day. Check in/out was very easy and the host was very prompt with help to sort out any issues."
