Great time

We really did enjoy our stay, not many complaints besides having to take the trash out due to Maggie valley not having a service that comes out. Besides that it’s very clean, and lovely place to stay!

Sweet Retreat

Enjoyed the cabin very much. It was nicely decorated and very clean. Had all the amenities that you need. Would love to return sometime in the future! Hot tub and view was great!!!

A sweet retreat indeed..

The property is exactly like listing , this house has everything for a stay..kids enjoyed all the board games, hot water tub etc.. this place is also located close to groceries, restaurants, shopping, gas etc. It was easy to drive to the place with well paved roads.. will definitely come back ..

Outstanding property

The home was just as advertised. Very clean, and kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need to cook. Views are beautiful, and location is outstanding. Would definitely stay here again.

Cabin is called Sweet Retreat for a reason

This cabin is indeed a wonderful home to visit if you are interested in an amazing view, privacy and peaceful surroundings. The cabin is equipped with everything, just visit the local grocery store and you're set. Easy to book and reserve, great communication with property management, we will definitely come back to this special property.

We had a great time at this property. We enjoyed the view from the hottub. The property had all the essentials, utensils, board games etc. Toilet and towel paper were a little low, would recommend carrying extra just in case. Other than that, I think anyone will enjoy this place. Driving up the hill to get here at night was quite an adventure.

Peaceful Beauty

We enjoyed a relaxing four days and nights at Sweet Retreat. Not only was the home beautiful both inside and out, but also extremely clean and well appointed with supplies. Being from the deep south, we especially enjoyed the moderate temperatures we experinced while there. When at the cabin, we spent most of our time on the deck and particularly enjoyed watching the sunrises each mornings and sunset in the evenings. We hope to have the opportunity to stay at Sweet Retreat again!

Sweet Retreat is a great cabin to spend a week and relax

A hidden Gem in Maggie Valley

Stay was excellent. Canine was clean, views were outstanding. It had all the necessary utensils and appliances including a wonderful barbecue station. Only issue with whole stay was disposal of garbage that needs to be hauled to a dump. With cleaning fees charged, property managers should be able to arrange garbage disposal by cleaning crew.

Perfection

The reviews are accurate. Every picture is a perfect representation of this Sweet Retreat cabin. It is accurate named and possibly the sweetest retreat we’ve had to date on our annual Smokey Mountain trip. The view is breathtaking and the best part of every morning. Nothing short of absolute relaxation. The cabin is cozy and comfortable with just enough space for a workout every morning. 10/10 and we will be saving this property to rent again.

Awesome House, Great View, Perfect Location

The double master with stand up shower or full size tub is the perfect setup for a couple with a child. Also, the fully stocked kitchen with large countertops makes for easy meal prep and cooking. Plus, there's plenty of takeout spots within a reasonable driving distance which is great. All the major attractions are also super close (Cherokee, Cataloochee, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc...). One negative, the cleaning crew showed up 20 minutes early, parked in the small driveway, and watched us leave. It made the already stressful departure uncomfortable and felt pretty rude. Nevertheless, I'd rent this house again and love every minute of it. Don't hesitate and rent this place.

Great Stay!

As all other reviews have accurately stated, the appointments in this cabin are top notch. It's simply a beautiful cabin. If peace, quiet, and a lovely serene view are what you're after, then this is your spot. Yes, the drive up is a touch challenging, and would not want to do it in the winter. But after the first time or two up, it was not a big deal. The only minor criticisms we had were as follows. 1 - Inconsistencies regarding the WiFi password (between the Premier paperwork, welcome book in the home, and the label on the router, there were 3 different passwords given). The router label was the correct one. No biggie, just a bit of frustrating inconvenience was all. 2 - A couple calls to Premier went unanswered, with one return call not occurring until the next day. Just glad they weren't emergencies. This last comment is strictly for Premier. Was a bit surprised that after-hours check-in is to merely grab an envelope from an unlocked box. Suggest some type of code-changing electronic lock be used. If I was a homeowner in their system, I would be a bit concerned with that lack of security.

Lovely Mountain Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was perfect for our needs. The two master bedrooms were great. The cabin decor was beautiful. The view was stunning. We hiked, walked around downtown Waynesville and visited Biltmore. The hot tub was a perfect ending to those days. The road up to the cabin is steep but paved. The driveway way is also steep and a bit intimidating, but two cars can easily fit. We had an issue the last day with the dishwasher not working but I am sure that will be addressed asap. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin or Melissa, the very responsive and helpful property manager. We hated to leave!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little cabin is one of the very nicest ones we’ve stayed at in Maggie over the past 15 years. It’s just perfect for a couple (or 2) or a couple with two children. The views from the deck are outstanding with wonderful sunrises.The paved road is excellent with easy access to town and the gravel driveway is not too steep at all, making it very easy to come and go.Having the gas grill handy is very helpful and much appreciated, and having great Wi-Fi makes a huge difference. Thank you for that!Melissa @ the management company is so easy to get along with andthe owners of the property are very kindhearted and accommodating. We have only been gone for a couple of days and I’m ready to go right back and would do so in a heartbeat! All in all, Sweet Retreat is the perfect spot for an extremely nice getaway!

I would recommend this property to couples or to a small family. Our experience was great, the only hiccup was that when we arrived after a 11 hour drive, the beds weren’t made. There were sheets in the closet, so no problem, we were able to make the bed. The next day we were contacted by the host, apparently there was a mistake about what day we were arriving. New sheets and towels were provided right away so no problem. I would stay at this cabin again.

Wonderful Stay at the Sweetest Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and proximity to town is ideal. The paved road all the way to the cabin makes for an easy, easy ride. It wouldn’t be too pleasant to try to get a 2nd vehicle in the parking area since the driveway is very steep and there’s not much room to park. That didn’t affect us at all since we had only one car. The cabin itself is very nice, clean, well organized and nicely furnished w/o too much ‘bear and moose’ stuff. It’s obvious that the owner’s of the cabin care about providing a first-rate experience. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was a pleasure preparing meals and eating at the counter adjoining the kitchen...very handy.I would recommend this property to anybody...it’s just delightful, so much so that I have already booked two additional weeks a few months from our wonderful visit in May ‘24. As always, the rental agency folks are a delight to work with; very responsive, kindhearted, and so helpful in every way. It’s only about 20 minutes up to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 10 minutes in to town and another 10 in to Waynesville. I give this place a 10 and out of 10! Can’t wait to come back later on in the year, and next year, and the next! I’m very grateful for the opportunity to enjoy this fine mountain home in such a beautiful, private neighborhood.
