Cozy Mountain Cabin - Amazing View! Central heat/AC, fireplace, firepit
The view! Our cozy cabin has a back-up generator, central air/heat and a fireplace, so you get the wilderness with all the modern comforts, no matter what the weather. Four distinct seasons; all beautiful! Well-built and very cozy. Close to Cataloochee Ski Resort, shopping, restaurants and amazing drives and hikes in the Smoky Mountains. Minutes from Smoky Mountain National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway! Maggie Valley is like a step back in time and the people are so friendly! AWD or 4WD vehicle is highly recommended. Some of the approach to the cabin is steep and it's a narrow, gravel road. Rustic and relaxing is Maggie Valley, and for modern shopping and restaurants, Waynesville is close by. You'll love that quaint but modern town too! Something for everyone here! Unbeatable location!

Absolutely incredible cabin and views. Close to all sorts of activities. The cabin had everything we needed and we felt right at home. For the other comments saying a 4x4 is required to get to the cabin, we had no issues with a FWD Corolla Cross. Would definitely consider booking again during our next trip to the mountains. Very highly recommend!
Owner very responsive. Cabin had all the comforts needed. My son said it's his dream home. Only suggestion, definitely get an AWD/4wd SUV. I did tear up the bottom of my small AWD rental car. It is gorgeous and would definitely stay again. :)
Absolute perfect cabin nestled high in the mountain and everywhere you looked was a photo moment! It was clean and had all that we needed. We spent an afternoon in Waynesville, enjoyed time buying local apples and loved the drive and views on the Blue Ridge parkway! Our host detailed directions and description of the drive to the cabin was invaluable. We had an AWD and after our first drive up we were laughing with the satisfaction that we had made it! Then we saw the view and the view silenced us. What a thrill!
Beautiful clean cabin. A little difficult to reach specially in a long bed F350.Strongly would recommend for a peaceful, quiet and rejuvenating stay.Owner very responsive and kind. Highly recommend again.
Everything was great, house and view were beautiful. House had everything you needed. Only thing was the drive in was a a little rough but the view was worth it.
Very quiet and secluded. Definitely needed my 4 wheel drive. Google maps will get you there but follow the owners directions as well. Definitely bring firewood for the fire ring and sit out under the stars.
Cabin is very clean, comfortable beds, you definitely need a 4 WD! The view is stunning…beautiful mountain location. Beautiful fire pit area but we were unable to enjoy due to some inclement weather. Host was very gracious and responsive to our questions. If you want a secluded mountain cabin with outstanding views this is the place. The picture attached is right out the front window!
The drive in was an adventure the first time and the other reviews and listing are right that you'll need at least a vehicle with AWD, but once you get you're bearings it's a pretty simple drive in to a an amazing view and great cabin stay.We enjoyed every minute of our stay and the view from the porch. Even in the mist and dog it was hauntingly beautiful. The location was unbeatable if you want to get away but still be close enough to enjoy the locals shops and restaurants on Maggie Valley and Cherokee. The drive along the Blue Ridge Highway up to Waterrock Knob was also a can't miss.Overall an amazing stay, at an amazing cabin in the Smokies.
It was definitely more difficult getting in than expected. Turn by turn instructions would have helped. Other cabins I've stayed in have done that. It was partially my fault because I got there after Dark and got lost a couple times! The cabin is great and the screen porch was the highlight of the trip. It was great sitting out there and watching the weather change and it's nice and cool at altitude. One morning we saw a small black bear walk past the fire ring.
