The living room has a queen sleeper sofa and twin flip out bench. Comfort all year round with central heat/AC, gas fireplace, a wraparound deck with a hot tub, and a fire-pit outside. Entertainment abound with WiFi, cable TV in both bedrooms along with HD cable in the living room. Located close to the heart of Maggie Valley with easy access on a paved road; great for bikers and skiers alike. Firewood for the fire-pit is available for purchase by the bundle or by the truck load from Maggie Mountain Vacations.

The approach to this vacation rental is easily accessible, paved road right off the main road in Maggie Valley. We advise during the Fall and Winter Season (more specifically during inclement weather) guests use an all-wheel drive or 4 wheel drive for accessibility.
This home is minutes to the heart of Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel's “American Pickers”), horseback riding and only a few miles from golfing. In about 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing.
This home is about a 20-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and “Polar Express” during the Christmas Holiday).
A little more than 50 minutes away, you’ll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America's largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas.
