Everything was wonderful. The unit was as described. Very clean. Instructions on arrival very concise. Beautiful place with a rushing stream down below. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sadly we were there for 3 of the rainiest days in October, but still enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely rent again.
This was a nice spacious cabin that had a warm cozy atmosphere. King Bed was very comfy (always a plus when traveling) and we truly enjoyed our Thanksgiving holiday in the cabin.
Spent a quick 2 nights here and enjoyed it. Very clean and comfortable. Good location. Loved the fireplace too. My son enjoyed reading in the loft. Easy check in and check out. Great communication. Thank you!
Everything we needed for our 3 night stay. The star of the property is the wonderful creek running through the back yard. It was also nice to have the fire pit to sit around after our days of exploring. We Plan on visiting again this summer with the grandkids.
Lovely log cabin in the Smokies. Clean, Comfortable, very nicely designed interior.
Only issue was the barking dogs up the hill. Felt bad for the dogs as well as the local home owners.
We did Love the cabin & location.
This cabin had all Big C’s…Charm, Cozy, Clean, Comfort and Convenience! My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the wrap around porch and the soft, soothing sounds of the creek that ran beside the cabin! The host was great to work with and the check in process was easy! We will definitely add this stay to our favorites!
This cabin is exactly as advertised, extremely clean, nicely furnished not overly decorated, so there was room for us to relax without bumping into art. The kitchen was nicely appointed, everything we needed. The owner was terrific.
Full size washer & dryer was a plus, the bedrooms are roomy and beds comfortable
Me and my husband absolutely love this home. We have gone to the mountains for 10 years now and this has been the best place we have stayed at. The location was perfect and close by attractions. The house was beautiful. Jane was available whenever i needed her. We will definitely be coming back here when we visit Maggie Valley.
We had a wonderful week at Rushing Bear! The cabin was close to town! It was clean and beautiful and just as described! We enjoyed the fireplace, the sounds of the rushing creek and sitting on the porch on those cold days! Jane is a wonderful host and is easy to communicate with! We will definitely stay here again! Beautiful cabin. Dogs barking across the street all day and night. Very disturbing. I can’t believe that hasn’t been addressed sooner. Otherwise it certainly was a good experience. Great location.
The Cabin is well located with easy access to eateries and necessities. The Property Manager is EXTREMELY helpful and PROFESSIONAL! My partner as well as I are germaphobes, and it was pleasant to see the place was in top cleanliness condition. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking for a nice quiet stay in the mountains and its not too far from a few hiking trails with beautiful views!!
The Cabin was Clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a Great Mini Vacation. Great Location just 3 Minutes from Maggie Valley as well as in a quiet private neighborhood with several other Cabins. We were able to take out 11 year old Golden Retreiver which is part of the family.
Thanks again to Jane for a wonderful stay. CB
Property was just as described. Well laid out. With only two of us, we didn’t even use the upstairs area but it was laid out well. Bed was very comfortable. Great location for what we were doing. Host was very responsive. No issues at all.
Loved all the bear and wildlife items throughout the home. The king size bed is the largest king size bed I have ever slept in. It was huge and very comfortable. They even included steps so us elderly folks could get in to it. Our host was very responsive and friendly, I highly recommend this home. Large yard also
This is the second time we have stayed at these cabins.
Jane has two cabins and now we have visited both of them.
We were in Nashville and decided to extend our trip and fortunately this cabin was available.
Everything was perfect. IMMACULATE and FULLY equipped. We saw elk and hummingbirds, even a firefly or two.
Communication with Jane was available for easy check in and any questions that may come up.
We will retun again.
The calming sound of the creek was awesome, the grass and yard by the firepit needs a little tending so you could see the creekVery peaceful except for the hunting dogs barking every night in a few directions. You could not hear them if you were in the house. Beds were super comfortable. Brought k cups, no keriug. Great time.
