Wonderfully calm and tranquil setting in a lovely home from home

We stayed for two weeks beginning off August in this lovely house. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. The house was extremely comfortable, well maintained and had lots of lovely home touches. The swimming pool was a good size, clean and very welcome in the heat. The house has good access to local bakery which is only a bike ride away. There is a supermarket very close. Some restaurants but we went further afield so can't comment on them. The surrounding area had lots of excellent bike trails accessible straight from the door. We went boating and visited La Rochelle which is only 40 minutes away. Overall a wonderful and relaxing experience. We would definitely return.

Belle région !

Très belle maison fonctionnelle et au calme avec une grande piscine au cœur du marais poitevin. Accueil très sympathique de Monique et son mari qui nous a facilité notre installation. Des vélos permettent de faire de belles balades dans la région. Nous vous conseillons aussi le marais poitevin en barque avec un guide. Nous recommandons cette maison.

Propriétaire sympathique et attentionné. Maison très bien entretenue ,tout confort. Au calme , très reposant . Decouverte des marais en barque ou en velo avec de très beaux villages autour. Je recommande cet hébergement et remercie Monique et Jean Pierre pour leur accueil.

Séjour agréable

Maison dans une voie sans issue et à l'écart de la route principale : environnement calme. Jardin agréable, ombragé et bien clôturé (pour nos amis à 4 pattes) Propriétaires accueillants et ayant eu une petite attention pour notre arrivée : bouteilles d'eau au frigo et une galette (de la région) Maison non climatisée mais malgré la canicule qui sévisait la maison est restée fraiche Maison avec tout le nécessaire, propre et bien agencée Piscine, balançoire, ping pong, vélos à disposition (de toutes les tailles) Possible de se rendre au village à pied ou à vélo. Un super U se trouve à la sortie du village De belles balades à faire dans le coin en vélo Faire absolument la visite des marais poitevin en barque avec un guide Nous avons découvert des restaurants très agréables ou nous avons pu découvrir les plats régionaux (les mogettes, le pâté de ragondin, la trouspinette, farci poitevin ......) En résumé, un agréable séjour
