What an excellent getaway. The rooms are super clean, unique and quirky, but what sets this BNB above others is Simon's attentiveness and his gourmet delicious breakfast. It rivals a 5-star Michelin rated restaurant! Would highly recommend a stay.

Simon was amazing! Our party came into Magog after midnight needing an extra room, and Simon accommodated us cheerfully. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with interesting collectibles. And the breakfast was really first class!

A Delight for the Senses

We had such a delightful time at La Maison. Simon the host was incredibly gracious, friendly and helpful. The inn is just charming--and comfortable. The breakfast was out of this world and starting with an amazing fruit bowl that included grilled pineapple and creme fraishe. He then made a poached egg wrapped in prosciutto, cheese and a croissant. The coffee was strong and smooth. We will be back!

Great B&B stay

This is wonderful small b&b. The owner Simon is delightful. The b&b is located one block from shops and restaurants, and only a few blocks from the lake. Parking was offered onsite. Rooms were creatively designed to fit toilet closet and shower. Breakfast was amazing. Overall, it was great stay.

The breakfasts are delicious works of culinary artistry, beautifully presented, and they kept me going practically until dinner. I couldn't wait for the next morning to what we get next. Simon is a generous, engaging and resourceful host who gave helpful suggestions when I asked about local sites. The flea market items for sale throughout the house made for fun browsing in every hallway and common room. I would come back to this unique place for sure, close to downtown and all sorts of restaurants. Abig thank you to Simon!

A beautiful surprise-spectacular breakfast

We were looking for a place to stay one night in Magog, I hadn’t realized breakfast was included and it was stunning! I wish I took pictures, it tasted as good as it looked. I would definitely book again. Our host was welcoming and accommodating, letting us check in earlier and making sure we had a space in the parking lot to charge the car. Our room was small, but very comfortable, perfect for the night!

A lovely experience! The B&B is beautifully designed in a Victorian-style home. The location couldn't be better—right in downtown Magog, just a two-minute walk from the lake. Simon, the owner, is a trained chef and artist who prepares exceptional multi-course, five-star breakfasts. If you're a gourmet, you should definitely stay here!
