"This is a unique property. The house is beautiful, but it was a little difficult to tell what exactly we were getting from the listing. We wound up with a room with an en-suite bathroom, which I would definitely recommend, otherwise you may be sharing a bathroom with complete strangers. We stayed here as part of RAGBRAI, so it was completely full and folks were definitely having to share a bathroom and coordinate showers. Not a huge deal, but we were happy to have our room with the bathroom. All in all, a good stay"

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful, family-friendly home. The décor was beautiful—featuring a great mix of classic styles with tasteful, subtle updates. The house was spotless and the temperature was perfect. The bathrooms also combined older charm with modern conveniences.After a long journey and arriving later than expected, everyone felt comfortable, well-rested, and at ease. Our host was attentive and accommodating when we shared our delayed arrival, and she made the check-in process easy and stress-free.Since none of us had visited Perry, Iowa before, we’re already hoping to return and stay longer to enjoy the town’s quiet atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this property over a hotel.— Bobby"
